Should start to get busy from this week onwards.I haven't been to work for 10 days mostly because of the cough and my foot but need to go back.
Nice that you chose to spend your money your way on a nice day out.
DH and I have 2 days off 19th and 20th so may have a day out then..just for a change of scene.

I seem to remember saying something like - 'never go to the Continental Markets at weekend' - pity I hadn't remembered before I got in the crowds in Manchester - went this afternoon and it was HEAVING. I spent a fair bit too on sausages cooked over big fire in a massive rack, doughnuts and a couple of presents. But it helped put me in a more festive mood I think. Just got to get a little something to go with dds present and got nothing yet for ds and don't know what to get either. Still got a week and a bit to go LOL

Started the new treatment today - nurse came round and it wasn't half as bad as I expected - I've just got to get used to doing it myself now. Once I get the hang of it - I'm hoping life should be a lot easier than it is at the moment.

I've finally got my tree up and am supposed to be wrapping presents but am sitting on here instead :p - will get the last of my presents soon - still struggling with what to get ds - I'm hoping I'll get a bit of last minute inspiration ;) - but I've a feeling it is going to be very last minute:eek:

Using bits up from the freezer so I have some room for some food shopping next week.

We break up tomorrow - got 2 Christmas parties for the kids to do first - 1 morning then 1 afternoon - very exciting - the man in the big red suit will be visiting and handing out pressies to them - their faces are a picture ;)

hi glad the treatment went okay and you got some rest. Well done for getting the tree up... i still ideally need to do some wrapping but nearly done - the ones left are hamper style anyway so less need to wrap!

Good luck with the kids party tomorrow!

  • Glad you enjoyed your parties etc, and that the christmas preps work themselves out. No snow at all down here, but I'm sure the gritters are hard at it clearing roads up by you.

    Happy present delivering!
