Well done for sorting this out with your boss.
Having just read this thread, I think some of the comments are seriously harsh!
Mistakes happen, and if a boss respected an employee, then would overlook the mistake and the cost. Sh*t happens. I guess those who critisized have never made a mistake before. Putting petrol in a diesel is hardly a deliberate mistake!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

at least we still try and fight for better terms and conditions. we try and band together. were going on strike soon and hahahahah your mail will be late. now if you change your mentality from your employer holds the power to the worker holds the power then things will get done in your workplace. ALWAYS support the strikes if your a worker.
Er, how exactly does going on strike get things done in the workplace? Surely if everyone's on strike, then absolutely nothing gets done in the workplace?
