will contact trading standards tomorrow in that case
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
In writing is preferable.0

As you will be signing the letter understanding is essential.
May I suggest that you read though for a while and then post up a draft letter based on what you have gleaned. We can proceed from there to assist with enlightenment.
Also see the thread about OPC and Windor Smythe so that you may gain appreciation for the Fraud Act 2006 (which is found here http://www.statutelaw.gov.uk/content.aspx?LegType=All+Legislation&title=fraud+act+&Year=2006&searchEnacted=0&extentMatchOnly=0&confersPower=0&blanketAmendment=0&sortAlpha=0&TYPE=QS&PageNumber=1&NavFrom=0&parentActiveTextDocId=2922456&ActiveTextDocId=2922456&filesize=44059 ) The view of the CPS on this Act is here http://www.cps.gov.uk/legal/d_to_g/fraud_act/0 -
I got issued with a 'Excess Charge Notice' 6 weeks ago and followed the standard advice of ignoring everything from them but I haven't heard anything so nothing to ignore.
No letters, no follow up
6 Weeks. Is this long enough to relax? :j
It took them a few monts to send us a letter, i thinkwe've had 2 now (it happened in November) usual tripe which I have ignored of course!
Wouldn't worry too much!0 -
Hi all
I have been trying to post a scan of my first letter from L.P.S for my Excess Charge Notice but I can't post the link to the image. I am a new user to this forum so I'm not allowed to post links.
Could somebody tell me how I can do it.... or a user that is allowed to post links PM me and I will send you the link to post on my behalf.
I also have photograph of the sign displayed in the car park for further information, which I can also post if that would be helpful.0 -

Hi All
I have just received my first letter demanding details of who was driving my car sort of and a sort of demand for payment.

Sorrry the link does not work for me.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
