But because she gave his sister a lot of money when she sold his nan's house, she feels guilty for not giving him anything. To cut a long story short, it could be enough for a deposit for a house...or well on the way to it!
). Let us know how it goes. x

Hi Baby steps!
Gee, thanks - that's really kind of you, but all I ever seem to do is moan!At least, that's how it feels. Alas, at the moment I have a fairly limited income so it means that I can't do all the debtbusting I would like, but I am working on getting a new job permanently full-time), so that I can get on with things. I'm going to see if you have started a diary I can follow. I hope you have!
*Pickle scuttles off to look for Baby step's diary* Anyway, whether you have or you haven't, pull up a chair, get a virtual cup of tea or coffee and have a biscuit to nibble on and read what we are all up to: you might get some ideas!
*Pickle returns from aborted thread search with comfy chair, teapot, full silver service and a place of chocolate digestives, hob nobs, jaffa cakes and batenberg slices*
P.S. Great login name! Considering the number of times that phrase is uttered on this forum, I can't believe that someone didn't choose that name sooner! :TPlease call me 'Pickle'

Pickle is hungover.
She is never drinking wine until 4 a.m. again with her aunty.
Aunty has come to visit for a few days so spent £10 taking her to lunch yesterday (my treat), £1.99 on new night cream (am trying the Aldi Lacuna stuff which gets rave reviews: if it doesn't work, I just bought myself a new footcream, so there's nothing lost), and £2.34 on a hair mask as my hair needs it, and £23.something on new nail stuff, on top of the £123 I spent the other day. It literally never ends.
Am still working on the assumption that my overdraft will be recalled, so am doing the best I can to spend everything on my CC and leave as much untouched as possible in my bank. Bills will come out, of course, and some things I have to pay for cash (like lunch yesterday as it was just a little cafe, not a Starbucks or anything, and some drinks at another aunty's birthday bash on Saturday night), and it's painful to do cos I know it's the wrong way round completely, but what else can I do? Am only buying that without which I cannot live, and trying to be a cunning condiment in the finance department. Have to sign A&L forms now and send back.
Need to return 2 nail cutters I bought off Ebay as they arrived scratched. Grr!
Am seriously unimpressed that I didn't manage to list anything in the Ebay free listings days cos I was working all weekend, and had a birthday party to go to as well. I said to myself that I would list everything I have to sell on Turbolister during the month, then just let it all rip (or copy and paste if I couldn't) on the free listing days themselves. I've not got round to it cos of the mess of my bedroom (I feel very bad as Aunty is here), and CD uploading seems to be the thing on the big project list of cleaning up mess which seems to be getting done at the minute, so I'll have to make that number 2 on the list.
Sorry, I'm waffling. Quite a lot of stuff has happened since my last update but I've been too busy to type, and now I've had the chance I'm hugover. Yuck. Bed grapes, bad viniculters! Please call me 'Pickle'
