IMHO you seem to be doing pretty well as it is, but a bit of extra money-studying never did anyone any harm! Please call me 'Pickle'

Oooh, that sounds exciting! Is it that your savings are going better than you thought, or that you've had a stroke of good luck? Whichever, I hope that you get your house sooner rather than later. Please call me 'Pickle'

I'm fine, thanks, just working full-time at the minute and dodgy hours at that, so I'm on here at wierd hours. I'm getting quite a bit of reading done, though, so that's making me happy! :T Is 'The Broke Diaries' the book about the shopaholic that everyone is talking about on the book thread? If so, let me know how it goes as I would love to read it if it's any good.
Anyway, how's you? Hope you are keeping well. I've been nosying in your thread a lot. Well done on the lunctime walks: I need to get my overly-round posterior in action and so the same. Please call me 'Pickle'

Glad you have it all figured out.
Great news that you have some extra hours at work as every penny helps.0 -

Indeed it does! Now if only next month's payday would roll on, I would be much happier than I will be when I get paid tomorrow!

Well it's not MY stroke of good luck, more like the boyfriend's. His mum is selling her house and downsizing and she's going to give him some money. But because she gave his sister a lot of money when she sold his nan's house, she feels guilty for not giving him anything. To cut a long story short, it could be enough for a deposit for a house...or well on the way to it! :beer:Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
