Just back from Tesco: bought new blouse and skirt for tomorrow, and a reduced going out top for £5 (mum was a bad influence!), as well as some reduced price dark chocolate for baking, and ok, some reduced price Lintz milk choc (79p instead of £1.56) for eating. Naughty Pickle, but yum! (Chances are the top is going back.)

Better go. Will fill in prices for the above tomorrow when have time. Need to try on interview outfit to see how it fits.

    Good luck with the interview.

Thanks Taxi! :) I think the interview went OK, but I can't be 100% as interviewer was asking a lot about where I want to be in 5 years time etc. In great detail. I think I fluffed that bit as she was super-insistant (methinks previous people working there have beggared off after a small period of time and she wants it to make sure I won't do the same). I think she liked me otherwise, but I'm not the only candidate, so let's see.

Returned blue blouse for a refund (Tesco blouse was nicer and £3.26 cheaper), returned two sets of pumps back to Tesco last night (£15 refund), had a NSD today and am thinking about making some chocolate chip cookies with the chocolate I bought yesterday.

Also, went to collect my new ghd today. It says they are 'MK3' which I take to be a refurbished/new pair of the older stylers as the website says they are now onto no. IV. So long as they work, I don't care (and that reminds me, I haven't yet tried).

Am loading all my CDs onto iTunes and it is taking forevvvvvvvvvvver. :( I'm up to 130GB and my iPod only holds 120GB. Grr. I have uploaded in a pretty good quality (so I can burn onto CD if necessary), and I think that there are duplicates of songs from artist's albums and then on compilations, so I am tempted to remove them from the compilation to reduce the memory requirements, but I doubt that on its own would be enough. *Sigh* What to do, what to do. It's all Harry Potter's fault, I'm sure. I wonder if I backup the songs, can I re-import them at a lesser quality, which would take up less memory? Decisions, decisions...

Also, while the cogs are whirring, I have not drunk and Diet Coke for 3 days and think it would be good for it to stay that way, and I have been impressed with the quality of some of the clothes I have bought at Tesco, and also the fact that the sizes are what they should be. Many times I have gone to shops to try on an alleged size whatever, only to the find that I can't get it past my knee as they are so much smaller than they are supposed to be. It really piddles me off. I've bought a pair of black trousers (half price at £7.50), a very pretty black skirt (half price at £7.50), and a nice green sating blouse (two-thirds off at £5.00). The suits don't look that good, but some of the stuff is nice if you shop carefully. Especially those black boots! ;)

Also, sold MP3 player for £100 so am delighted it has gone, both to give me some space and to get me some cash. I have a few other things I need to put up on Ebay and Amzon (OK, more than a few things!), but it's a good continuation. :)

And there finish my musings. But not my glass of red wine, so I shall keep on with that until it is finished, too. ;)

Yes my hubby puts everything onto an external drive, movies, music and tv programmes because if he doesn't I go nuts because the laptop goes super slow, I'd recommend it although there have been some hairy times when he has plugged it in and we have thought that the hard drive wasn't going to work, I think he would cry if this happened.

That's my biggest fear, too - I'd probably slit my wrists, but my laptop has crashed about 6 times since I went onto this site as I have about 9GB of memory left. I need to get it onto the hard drive. Any idea how to do it? Brother's girlfriend (the one who suggested it) is in bed.

Hmmm...am currently downloading all the music to my external hard drive after a bit of poking around on the internet for instructions (funny how iTunes help on the computer only mentions about burning them to disc. I have so little room that I would have to line my bed with the discs as the only storage option. I don't think so, somehow!). It still have 3 hours 5 mins to go, and that's only about half my music!

And guess what, I have just managed to delete a massively long post. Stupid bloody computers!

Definitely think it's time to get out of there.
Can you not get any old job and rent somewhere or bunk up with mates.

Sort of, thing is jobs are still not 10 a penny given that we may technically be out of recession, but it hasn't quite translated to 'real life' yet (although take it from me, I will be trying much harder than I already have been!), and the bunking up with mates problem is that they either all live in other cities, or have recently got married and have kiddies! (Best friend will always offer in case of emergency - and frequently has - but I think it's a bit much given that baby no2 isn't even 2 months old yet!

Interview 2 of job, come to mama!
