Well done on the sales.
Thanks. They are only 3 small items, but at least it's clearing up some space. I'm going to relist the two largest/most expensive items tonight as there were quite a few watchers, but I think the fact that they ended so late at night meant that last-minute bidders didn't bid, costing me the sale. I'll relist them at about 7/8 pm tonight. Please call me 'Pickle'

OMG - have just checked my bank account and credit card balances online and have just noticed that my bank have upped my CC limit to £3,500! No notice, no warning, nothing...just like that! What's the bet that if I actually wanted them to do that for me, I wouldn't stand a chance?! Honestly...
Took back the handpumps today, so that's another £10 back in the pot, but have had to spend £14 on a concert ticket for Friday for going out for a friend's birthday. (This is my one big night out of the month.) Still, the handpumps have almost covered it.
Why is money such trouble?! *Insert rolly-eyed smiley here*Please call me 'Pickle'

Ooh what or who are you going to see on friday? a good night out is just what the doctor ordered and is well deserved after your very busy and productie week.
As for the credit limit its crazy as soon as you start getting money under control its like the banks get a siren going off at head office to alert them to the fact that you are in danger of getting out of debt 'we must lure them into more before it's too late - up the credit limit quick', well up your banks we don't need your money (we just really want it for lots of nice shiny new things)

It's a traditional Irish band: it's a friend's choice as it is her birthday that day, so we are all falling in with what she wants. We are then going for a few drinks afterwards (read: mahasssssive night out!). It should be good fun as birthday girl is a scream.:j This should count as my big night out for the month, so I'm looking forward to it.
And :rotfl: at your "we just really want it for lots of nice shiny new things"! So, so true. And no, I can't have it. Bad Pickle! Bad, bad Pickle!

Really?! Wow! No wonder people are getting into debt left, right and in the middle! Nope, I shall not be using mine for anything like that, but I am surprised that they didn't send me a letter of anything like that.
(Best of luck resolving your book situation tomorrow. :T)Please call me 'Pickle'

I've just been helping a friend to get a new mobile deal, and while doing so I noticed that my usage has been well below my allowance (I'm on a Sim-only rolling contract), so I rang up my provider and got my tarif changed from £20/month to £15, which should still be more than enough, starting next month. That's an extra £5 per month, which isn't a lot, but as Tesco says, 'every little helps!'.Please call me 'Pickle'

£5 per month off debt adds up to a lot over the year as you keep saving the interest.0
