£5 per month off debt adds up to a lot over the year as you keep saving the interest.
Exactly! And it's still giving me more than enough minutes and texts, so it's a win/win situatio,

Hi Pickle
I can really feel for your sorting out those CDs....that is a job that is much needed in this house. I love my CDs (and prior to that records - which we still have and I can't bear to part with:eek:)
I saw this on ebay this week and prior to my DFW days would have just bought it because it would be fab to be able to have all my CDs available at the touch of a button - imagine being able to have 300 CDs loaded and ready to go:T This was so -almost- a moment of weakness and a purchase, but DFW instincts kicked in thank goodness;)NR [STRIKE]£5542[/STRIKE]£2771 BC [STRIKE]£7987[/STRIKE]£7700 BC [STRIKE]£3000[/STRIKE]£5100 Cat1 Pd Cat2 Pd Ulstr [STRIKE]£3400[/STRIKE]£3070 TSB [STRIKE]£4851[/STRIKE]£4400 MBNA [STRIKE]£7700[/STRIKE]£3887 NWst [STRIKE]£950[/STRIKE] £700 Hfx [STRIKE]£10097[/STRIKE]£10050 Asda [STRIKE]£398[/STRIKE] £315 HFX1 Pd Hfx2 [STRIKE]£3133[/STRIKE] £3000

Ooh, I finally finished last night and I'm very happy as there were CDs loitering with intent all over my room, so it means that the room is tidier, I can actually find my CDs, and the database is now up-to-date and printed off so I can look up what is where whenever needed. It's nice to know I got one productive thing done this week!
And as for the CD changer, yes it's quite cool, but I already have something that does that...my iPod!(Well done on resisting, though! :T)

:rotfl:As if...my get up and go generally just gets up and scarpers without me, so it's about time it got one productive thing done this week (and trust me, I haven't done much else!). Plus, I only have me to worry about: you have kiddiwinkles and an OH. I'd be more worried if I DIDN'T get it done! Please call me 'Pickle'

Life update: CD's sorted and database printed out so they can now be found. Some of them need a clean, mind, and milions of them haven't been put on iTunes, so methinks I may have to do that next week inbetween everything else. *Sighs and rolls eyes since there are no smileys to do it for her* Went out for drink with friend last night (v :money:- £3.50 or so), AND STUPIDLY CLICKED ON SOMETHING AT THE TOP OF THE SCREEN WHICH HAS JUST DELETED MY LONG AND DETAILED POST. GRR! I'll have to come back and tell you later, guys, as I just don't have the time to repeat it all again.
Ciao 4 now. xPlease call me 'Pickle'

I have an iPhone and a little tiny iPod thingy (little pink one:o) so I can and do use it for my playing my CDs but there is just something about the thought of playing the actual CDs....sad I know, but hey ho, that's me:rotfl: DH has put iTunes on our server, which acts as our media centre and is played through the TV so once I organise myself to back up all my CDs to the server then we can have the albums displayed and sorted by iTunes.
Well done on getting your CD collection all organised onto a proper database - I am now seriously impressed with you;)NR [STRIKE]£5542[/STRIKE]£2771 BC [STRIKE]£7987[/STRIKE]£7700 BC [STRIKE]£3000[/STRIKE]£5100 Cat1 Pd Cat2 Pd Ulstr [STRIKE]£3400[/STRIKE]£3070 TSB [STRIKE]£4851[/STRIKE]£4400 MBNA [STRIKE]£7700[/STRIKE]£3887 NWst [STRIKE]£950[/STRIKE] £700 Hfx [STRIKE]£10097[/STRIKE]£10050 Asda [STRIKE]£398[/STRIKE] £315 HFX1 Pd Hfx2 [STRIKE]£3133[/STRIKE] £3000
