I've already started to get a few white hairs. Ah well - could be worse - they could be grey.

If I frown etc. I have slight lines on my forehead. It was as smooth as a babies posterior before. :( Boo!

Hmmm...CC balance appears to have gone down by another £2-something. Again, not complaining, but still not 100% sure about why I haven't got my totals correct. I've still not quite had the chance to do some calculations. There's a few more pounds to come off it as well, as soon as well when some money transfers from my savings account to my current account. (And when I say small, I mean a small amount - less than £10.)

Spent some money unexpectedly today buying birthday cards for the kiddiwinkles in my life: my Goddaughter is 2 this month and I needed a card for her. I was in a shop with a 4 for 1 offer on, so I bought 8 cards which will sort me out for the next couple of years for most of the children for whom I buy birthday presents. To top it all off, when I got home I discovered that they hadn't applied the 4 for 1 offer on the receipt so I need to get that sorted next time I go back. Admittedly it wasn't much over, but [insert Tesco slogan here].

"Every little helps"! ;) (Prefereably Brian Blessed saying it on that unforgettable episode of 'Have I Got News for You'.)

P.S. Drank two large glasses of white wine last night as mum opened a bottle to put in the chicken and white wine sauce she was cooking. Mum doesn't drink white, so it would have been wasted, which isn't very MSE. ;) Waste not, want not...I'll start again today.

LOL - so is that a full month starting today then?! (By the way, you can freeze wine, so if your Mum opens another bottle, simply pour glassfuls into separate plastic tubs and freeze for future use.....;) )

Ooh, I didn't know that - that's really useful as we only need one glass or so for chicken in white wine and if we don't have any of the little bottles (which we normally use), and you have to open a full bottle (if one is hanging around), then use it before it goes off (which only gives it a couple of days and it's such a rich recipie you wouldn't want it too often.), so it results in a bit of a waste it you don't have anything else to put it in.

    Cheers, Essex! :T

Yes you can, but if it is going to go off within a few days and have no other recipie to put in, the only other option is to drink it before it vinagerises if you don't want to waste it. You can drink it one glass a day, or get rid of it all at once, but if you aren't going to pour it down the drain, you'll drink it anyway. Unless you do an Essex and freeze it! ;)
