  • Congratulations J-9 - welcome to the September Club!! Stay positive!
  • Hi Everyone,

Had my phone interview with an examiner this morning. After initial panic when she didn't call, and finally getting through to Insolvancy office (she'd gotten the time wrong), we went through my SOA. It was all very straightforward and she explained everything well. I got panicky when i couldn't give exact dates for some things, but she was very calm and patient. So all over for now and a MASSIVE relief!! Looking forward to a good night's sleep :)

Thank you for your help and support everyone!!

Thanks for welcoming me to the 'Club'!

I'm still waiting for the OR to call.....................I think if I don't get a call today I'll ring them myself tomorrow. I hate all the waiting...............

How long did the rest of you have to wait until they contacted you?

            Cheers.

I was officially made bankrupt at 10.30 yesterday! Not at all bad in terms of the process, but having worked in financial services for the best part of 20 years, was more than a little significant in terms of my future employment opportunities. After a very difficult time, I feel this signals the upturn from being at the bottom of the slope!

The OR was really nice and I have a telephone interview in a couple of weeks. They allowed me to keep my bank account too (basic of course!).

            364 days to go :)
          6. hi me and my wife went bankrupt on monday 14th september!

we got our officail or interview on tuesday 22nd sept

so far not to bad, but all will be revealed on tuesday i suspect?
bit nervous but together we will get there!

a few qoestions about the or interview if i may?

we have just had virgin broadband/telephone & tv installed for £25 per month, is he likely to take this of us? my wife works from home therefore needs web access and my daughter needs access for her homework. we did this change from sky & bt to save a massive £57 per month. will this go in our favour?

my wifes car is also an issue, its on a bubble finance arrangement with 12 months left to run she really needs a car for work, school run and nursery, so will they take it off her? (its worth about £3000

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica]any info would be much appreciated

            thanks

I was told to expect a two week delay before my OR would call to make an appintment let alone a wait for an appointment date, so I decided to not worry too much, get on with life and sit and wait patiently. After all this has been a long journey so far, so a few more weeks is a drop in the ocean really.

The co op took only 3 days to set up my bank account and send me out a card and a welcome pack - now that's what I call service!
