and so the saga continues: :mad::mad::mad:
the cheque still didn't arrive and the court have said to re-book another appointment when it does and they will fit us in quickly.............. don't know whether to laugh or cry................. feeling so down now and to top it all don't know when the cheque will arrive as the chap who is the treasurer is on holiday now and the secretary is away til Friday......... and they need 2 sigs on the cheque............... oh oh oh oh :sad::sad::sad:
Question::::: and as we have no more money in til the 25th now would be ideal so maybe wondering if it worth waiting til next month now just for the bank side of things what do you all think????
thanks to listening me moaning on!
Sorry to hear it has still not arrived. Keep positive, its only a little delay and it won't change the fact that you are still going to do it, it's just taking a little longer than planned.
Do you mean whether you should wait til next month to go BR because of opening a new bank account? not quite sure what you meant, sorry. But if you do mean about the bank account, there is nothing to stop you opening a bank account before going BR, lots of us have done it and transferred things over before BR like wages and direct debits and have not had any problems.

We have been provisionally accepted for a co-op a/c (cashminder) - my question is that it will be a joint account is that ok still or do they prefer you to have single a/c's ??
It is too late for my wages to be paid into the co-op a/c so I guess we shall have to wait until after the 25th to go BR now ??? this is so confusing!!
The saga with the cheque continues and I think now they are going to re-issue another cheque but if we go BR after the 25th they have a couple of weeks to get it too us! (I really don't like the royal mail at the moment!!)0 -
THE CHEQUE ARRIVED TODAY!!!!! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
I can go and re-book on Monday hopefully be seen quite quick as just want it all over with now!

Hello everyone!
I'd like to join the September Club too.
As of 2.05pm 15th Sept 09 we are officially bankrupt.
In one way I feel fine as so much stress and worry has gone but on the other hand I still feel very churned up inside.
I'm waiting for the OR to ring and then I'm worrying about it going in the local paper and people gossiping about us behind our backs....................
Hubby says no one has the right to judge us and I guess he's right but he doesn't have to go down to the school gates................!!
However, that's just being negative.....................and reading the threads on this forum have helped so much! :T
Onwards and upwards!!0
