  • Well I've never posted on a forum before so here goes. I was made B/R on 9th Sept, but I've got a couple of questions.

I am about to send (was going to be today but not now!) my letter to claim back bank charges for an account that was included in my B/R. I received a statement from the bank today telling me how much I'm still overdrawn, like I'm gonna forget!!

Question 1: Can I still make a claim (I'm in Scotland)
Question 2: If I can make a claim and I'm lucky and get payment made out eventually, if they pay it ito my account they get their own money back, can I request a cheque?

I don't bank with them anymore but can't close the a/c as there is a debt.

Please help, I'm making myself really confused now!!!

Hi just to say you can now tell them that you are BR and give them the date, court number and name of court, then tell them to check the insolvency register for further details including your OR contact details.

It will slowly sink in that you no longer have to be dreading payday and the money disappearing as fast as it appeared.

    Donna :D

Thank you, appreciate it, that helps.

Got my OR interview booked and time off work booked to make the call in private, so all I have to do now is get through that and see what OR has to say. Bit nervous but hope all is ok
