OR interview done and all ok, but need to complete a new SOA in respect of my new job. I thought they may have taken this verbally, but they need it in writing. It was a long interview, but very friendly and helpful in terms of questions and some concerns that I had.
The car does need to go back, but paragon seem very reluctant to take it?? I tried to give it back months ago, but they wouldn't take it despite no payments being made (there is negative equity and over 6 payments in arrears) and even now they have a return of goods order they haven't made any arrangements to take it back. I have phoned them to arrange to return it again, but they say they will call back, but never do???
Good luck with the interviews everyone . . .0 -
Welcome Bevyh4525 to the club!
Hi MrX, am pleased that the OR interview went smoothly for you. Paragon are probably thinking about how much it will cost them to collect the car and then the fees they will have to pay to auction it off which is why they are reluctant to collect it. trouble is, the longer they leave it, the worse it will be for them.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
Thanks Don. You are probably right, but I thought my BR would have kicked them into action - whilst it is a free car at the moment, it is one of the things that is really hanging over me. I want the issue resolved so as to tick it off the list of things that need sorting!0

Hi Everyone,
Just joined other day so late in adding my name to the Sept 09 BR list.
I went BR on 10 Sept 09 and - 1st 0ct - waiting for OR Interview to call today.
Nervewracking but know its going through the fire to come out cleansed.
The CCCS were amazing, and truly helped me get this far.
I pray and hope that it all goes well so i can finally put it all to rest. And see peace at end of black tunnell.
Thank you

Back again, folks, we spoke to the O R this morning. He says it is normal to take over any endowment, even one linked to the mortgage, as he has an interest in any surplus above that required to cover the mortgaged amount. (Considering the way it has been under achieving, it will be lucky to reach even the ajusted figure we allowed for when we took out the repayment mortgage to cover the shortfall!) So we will discover what happens to his interest in the fullness of time. We are waiting for our CAB financial advisor to come back from holiday so we can discuss things with him.
The O R was helpful with the questions we asked, and says we can send the paperwork over the next couple of weeks if it's not all to hand immediately - I had visions of driving a big boxful to him as soon as possible!
He also said any deductions from salary will not be made before November.
My mood is a bit more optimistic now. Hubby is signed off work and has had his anti-depressant medication adjusted, so he's a bit out of it at times, but much better than Tuesday when he was almost suicidal. (Failure of man the provider, etc, etc.) My employer has been very understanding, talked to HR and they are going to put me in touch with a counsellor too.
Thanks, everyone for listening.0
