How are you bearing up Zara? x
Not bad thanks emb, just had a phonecall from the specialist to say my app's been pushed back two weeks! Apparently if you're under 35 it's classed as low rish as chances are it's a cyst or something similar. Very annoyed though, it means I've got a 3 week wait now, but they did say it may just be a gland or something and it may settle in that time. Just trying not to dwell on it at the moment, as I know I'll just end up depressed again, it's just so hard to do. I've been baking lots, and been out a lot to keep me occupied. Must say this weeks lists are doing the job too!
I'm having fun moving the office into the bedroom though, but how much dust? I knew it would be a toughy as I rarely venture into the spare room/office if I can help it, only to do a few levels of my Flying!

Wilf - I've done DS1&3 bedrooms so well pleased. A small pile of stuff I need to sort with DS3 but that is all. There rooms a join - one is a large double and the other a very small single. I'm thinking of having a wall built in the larger to make two large built in cupboards, one from each room - that way the small room will not need wardrobe and chest and the larger room would loose the same furniture so floor space would stay the same. DS1 will not like my plan but it would make sense.
Dinner cooking as I forgot footie training for DS3. Should be ready in a minute and then off I go.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

I will buy you some and send them up if you like
just tell me what size and PM your addy:A.
I'd normally ask mum to send stuff but she's not very well just now.
I will look in town tomorrow (have to nip in anyway to pay in a cheque- refund from holiday from hell!), and see if there is anything.....if not I may well take you up on that offer.
Consider the main aim of my flying over the next few days to get DS on good terms with his potty!

BUT - I have lost 5lb over the past week :j I need a Reading every week!!
I'm really confused too, but that doesnt take very much, lol. Well done on the weight loss :Tpoohbear59 wrote: »Thanks Hex, I just feel guilty cancelling charity donations but we are struggling now and have three weddings to go to in coming months! Maybe I could reduce them to £10 a month from £20 and not feel so guilty?
Can we persuade you not to feel guilty pooh? I'm sure that the charities you are donating to wouldnt want you to be worrying about how you can manage. Or how about cutting down to £2 a month if you feel you cant cancel completely?
I have some good news. I have a new job :j:j:j Same organisation, but at HQ. Also, DD did really well in her exams, 5 1s and 3 3s. And DD started a part time job on Sunday, working at Easter Road (where Hibs play for the footie fans amongst us:D) selling pies and bovril. I'll be rich!!
Anyone up for a HHC?0 -
you must make soup like me.....like something is missing!!:p what about salt and pepper
I find if you blend it it tastes less like dish water and more like soup. Another trick is to add vegetable stock cubes or powder. We used to do an experiment in school with the same ingredients and one lot was chopped and cooked, second grated and cooked and third same as the first but blended at the end and the tasted very different. My sons prefer the grated version, easy in a food processor. Sorry, food tech lesson over!
Flying..... 83 books listed on Amazon and by the way I always use second hand jiffy bags. Am I breaking rules?
SSL Thanks for that. I am really trying not to feel guilty. But with DH not working times are hard as he is self employed.
Well done you on your new job and DD on her exam success. Are you celebrating tonight?business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Decluttered lunch and migraine tabletsDog washed - smell mostly gone, and more fleas murdered. There are obviously still some on her, so she's going to need to have frontline or something similar, as I'm not sure my mum will be able to cope until they've all died of old age (she has program, so they won't breed). One escaped on to me, but I've only been bitten once. I've had a shower and hopefully drowned anything that thought it might hitch a lift
!
School stuff sorted for the morning. Dinner decluttered and kitchen tidied up. Dogs dishes re washed and filled again. Emptied the WM the hard way as it's not draining, found the phone number for the repair boy I'll call him in the morning. Need to go go phone my uncle. Aunt taking into hospital on Friday needing an emergency gall bladder removal. Was told op would happen the next day, anestatist (sp) didn't recommed as she has chest probs, Drs talked it all through with her and gave her till today to decide if (a) she wanted the op and face a 1 in 10 chance she could die or (b) have no op and risk another infection which could cause death anyway. She chose (a) only to be ready for the op at lunch time to be told by the surgeon that it's way too risky for her and refused to do it. I'll need to find out when she'll get out of hospital so that I can go to see her.
See you all in the morningI'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0
