Thanks Valli - most definitely NOT in the plan. but we're all healthy and there's nothing much for me to complain about so I better just get my ar*e in gear and get on with it! (do you reckon if I say it enough times I might start to believe it?) I've just told OH that if I have to go back to that place full time then LO might have a brother or sister slightly earlier than originally planned! :rotfl:
Now...off for a HHC starting..err... now! tackling some more filing! I will get it done!Jonathan Douglas born 20th January 2009 - 9lb 4oz

ETA - bevan, avatars are the little pictures that people have by their names. Recently changed because dusty said that there is a flylady for every situation, a bit like Smurfs - I have a horrible feeling that I may be brainy smurf (not a good thing!), but would like to be a gardening smurf...
Ah ha, I now get it, and the reason I couldn't see them is because it was turned off in my settings  I've been wondering for weeks what you guys were on about avatars for, now I just need to work out what to puthehe
Don't know if getting rid of boss and daughter counts as decluttering the office but it sure is quieter:idea: Jan 09. ETA
Thanks for the tips/offers re the Jiffy bags BUT I decided, as it's in a case, a box might be better/stronger and I NEED some good feedback to give future purchasers confidence IYSWIM. DS will pay for it from his profits and/or P&P!
Which reminds me - Jo - did the Delia books get to you or do I need to go and harrass the post office and get the to cough up for nice shiny new ones for you :rotfl:
I've done a bit of laundry (had to wash the stuff I wore to wash the dog, as I have no wish to transport fleas back home), but otherwise no flying. Tara and I walked 8 miles this morning. She came home, drank lots of water and collapsed, but is now hassling me again
I need to measure my number plate and order it (my mum's stuck a cardboard one on for the moment), then pack up and possibly go for another walk. My mum had to go to the dentist in London today, and is on her way back, so I'll probably stay till she gets here and then drive home. I have a boiler service at 10am tomorrow and don't want to risk being late!
ETA - dog has rolled in something unspeakably disgusting... guess who's having another bath?!0 -
brief pause in catching up - realised I was struggling to see the computer screen - eventually realised that this was because it was dark!
this was because a large black cloud had decided to dump it's contents on my washing - hence sprint down the garden!
Tis now thunder and lightening!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
you've got what I had last night then, last about 3/4hr!! I'm Sunderland, you north or south of me? Jan 09. best of luck Poohbear with this. I personally would cancel all the charity DDs until you can afford to give again. Why not suggest to your DH that you both leave all cards at home but that you carry an emergency £10/20 each - less offensive by making it both of you? Someone (Lil me?) suggested freezing the CC in a big block of ice so if you need to use it you have it, but it isn't simple to access.
Thanks Hex, I just feel guilty cancelling charity donations but we are struggling now and have three weddings to go to in coming months! Maybe I could reduce them to £10 a month from £20 and not feel so guilty?
Brilliant idea about us both carrying cash. I don't know why I didn't think of it.:o
rosepink have been mentioning to DH a couple of times a week about the lack of available balance in our CAccount. You are right it is time to up the mentioning of it. I am not sure if he is deaf, or selectively deaf?
Right back to listing books etc on Amazon, filled with new vigour after valli's news about her sale!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Juliejim.....if you have no takers for the grey school trousers we would be very happy to make use of them.
Glad you had a good time Froddington. Welcome back!
Hugs Jennybee...its so hard going back after having a baby. I ended going full time when DD1 was 4 months old. It was really hard leaving her and I ended up going part time after 6 months. I totally understand what you're going through.
Nice to see you posting Zoe. More hugs coming your way. Glad your having a bit of 'me' time.
Looks like my TD will be on again today....hate this rain. Apparently it's going to rain here today, tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. Great end to the school holidays!
Need to renew my library books, sort out the boiler cover and then do a bit of the list.0
