Hugs to all those who need or want one.
Boys shoes and lunchboxes bought - thanks for the help everyone, Sainsburys had half priced all of theirs so some advantages to my procrastination. Boys chose a small toy each and are now happily occupied in the play room so time for me to catch up with the housework after a weekend of DIY.
Just finishing my coffee and then a HHC at 12.15 if anyone cares to join me?'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Off to the dentist for DS check up0 -
Hex - well done on your shopping
Wilf - DS1 has tidied his room, DS2 is doing his and DS3 and I will do his after lunch - that is my aim for this week to get the kids rooms spick and span - next week is the family room - mainly paperwork and stuff from Nan's still to sort. It helps me to break the massive task down into weekly or daily aims.
Downstairs (except living room -tomorrows job) is looking ok again now.
Lunchtime! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
....after my disastrous attempt last week - lasted about 3 mins - am doing HHC - desk declutter at 1pm today. Result will hopfully be me finding my annual leave sheet

So far today I've been to the tip, been to school, got the kids some new trainers and done a load of washing. We've come home for dinner but I could do with going out again really but the kids don't want to. I've told them we're going out again at 1.30 so we'll see.
Right I'm going to put the washing on the line and do the washing up and see where we go from there.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Washing out, maiden full of ironing and DS's games listed on amazon - thanks for the support and advice with that - you know who you are!
I would think - having watched e bay that he will get a better price on Amazon...just got to decide whether to splurge on appropriately sized boxes or jiffy bags...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

best of luck Poohbear with this. I personally would cancel all the charity DDs until you can afford to give again. Why not suggest to your DH that you both leave all cards at home but that you carry an emergency £10/20 each - less offensive by making it both of you? Someone (Lil me?) suggested freezing the CC in a big block of ice so if you need to use it you have it, but it isn't simple to access.
In my HHC I de-flead four cats, helped the boys to clear the playroom floor, hoovered downstairs, emptied the DW and put it on a cleaning wash with the WM drawer too. Doesn't sound like a lot but the carpet was full of building dust and dog hairs. Going again at 13.30 if anyone wants to join me?
