Good morning everyone
I hope that you are all ok - I really missed posting whilst I was away at Mum's but I was flying- well sort off.
Move day was ok but shattering then back home for results day and DD did brillantly - can't remember exactly but 3 x A* and 2 x A and several B's I think. Also went to Southampton last Monday and found DS a room but had to £300 deposit - gulp there goes my food budget.
Cleared garden yesterday with wonderful friend and her lovely boys and my DS - did 11 trips to the tip and cleared loads down to the front garden so Dad an take it during the week without having to walk right up the long garden. Also sold 2 x sheds, greenhouse and a garden swing seat and 2 old kids bikes for them on ebay.
Still got to go down this weekend as it the old house will need cleaning and last bits to move - also odd bits of furniture is listed on ebay and if they don't sell will need to take them to the tip.
Then no rest for me as DS needs to go to Uni on 14th so he has time to find a job.
My house is a tip so I will try and catch up with the kitchen tonight after work as it is yukky - think DD left alone doing the cooking for several days.
Oh should really go as need to get puncture repaired as that went during the move - not very good timing!!

Hi all! Been awol over the weekend as been visiting mum in hospital (planned operation, nothing serious and she's home again now)
Also been enjoying the relatively nice weather we've had! Picked the new car up on Thursday and OH went out on Friday night with all the other people from his office as it was redundancy day. Luckily we've got a stay of execution til the end of the month so he's now in Stratford training his replacement.
For whoever it was that asked about accents....I'm Somerset born and bred (although I don't sound like a farmer!) and OH is Australian (although his mum is Scottish!)

Good morning everyone  Didn't do any flying yesterday
but the house is pretty spic and span from last week, so hope to ba able to catch up quickly
We went for a long walk yesterday, follwed by supper with 3 other families at a friend's house :j I honestly didn't drink much, but when we got home, I fell over a plank DH had left leaning near the back wall and went flying full length  I've scraped the skin from both palms and both knees
I put DD on the train to her first day at college at 7:15. She's been used to walking to school all her life (and running back if she forgets anything) so this is a big change for her. I hardly slept last night, and will be concerned for her all day
Hugs for everyone who needs them, especially zara, natty, Lady-L, toots, Soappie an Cally's DS (who had better not have passed swine flu to DD at Leeds Fest ).
Off to find my list, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0
