Huge hugs Zoe...So sorry to hear you news. Can't imagine what you're going though but I'm thinking of you hun. xxx
Zara....hugs for you too. I found a lump 3 1/2 years ago and fortunately it turned out to be a blocked milk duct apparently (or so they thought anyway). Worst 6 weeks of my life waiting for an appointment at the hospital though. Hopefully it'll turn out to be nothing. As Pigpen says try not to worry unless you know it is something to worry about. Easier said than done though, I know. xxx
Done a bit of a clean today and had my mum and dad round for tea. They've just gone as has DH who's popped to the pub for last orders with BIL. So making the most of it and doing a bit of ironing. I'll see what's left on my list too.

:hello: Hello everyone! We are back from our trip to Oxford, had a really nice time. We got there at about lunchtime yesterday and met up with my parents and sister and had lunch in a nice old pub, and then walked around a bit (in the rain unfortunately!) and saw some absolutely gorgeous buildings, and then we went to a brasserie and had ice cream sundaes! Had a really nice time. Then we all went back to the Travelodge - we had those saver rooms so some rooms were £9 or else £19. Had a picnic tea in mum's room which was nice.
Today Tim and I had a lie in and then we went for brunch at the M40 services, which was nice, such a good service area. Gorgeous food. And then we came home - saw loads of red kites over the motorway, absolutely brilliant!
It was really nice, been a lovely weekend, Saturday was great too seeing our friends from France. Quite tired tonight, so am going to have a day at home doing chores and resting, as I've an extremely busy week after tomorrow.
Hope everyone is well, I've not caught up with the thread yet, but I have caught up with the last thread:
Boddy, I’m so glad to hear that you feel a weight off your mind now you have finished working. It’s bound to feel funny for a while tho, getting into a new routine. Lovely to hear you are debt free apart from the mortgage
Serena, what a lovely idea of your dad’s to plant the rose garden in memory of your mum, how sweet
Soappie, hugs if you still want some – sorry I missed seeing you saying you wanted some on Friday, I didn’t quite manage to read that far on the thread before I posted. I have the same problem with remembering to return library books on time, now I have to write in my diary when they are due back!
Toots, I’m glad you enjoyed your beauty treatments so much. Hope you had a good time on the beach on Saturday
WWP, sorry to hear your DH is more poorly than usual and that he has been in pain, hope things get better for him and for you, big hugs to you both
Holly hope your headache is better now
Zara, hope you are ok, big hugs for you
Nice to see you Bevan, hope you are feeling ok
Mudbath, you sound like you are really looking forward to your dad going away with you next year, how lovely that will be
Hex, my voice is a southern softie! Don’t really know how to describe it! Not really high pitched or deep, just even. I spose it’s a bit like a newsreaders voice? MOAM has heard me speak, maybe she can describe it better than me!
Dusty, thanks for putting up the new thread, I was a bit confused and lost!
Lady Liberty, hope you are ok, am thinking of you xx
Pigpen and Toots/Soappie, thanks so much for all your hard work, it is always very much appreciated"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Evening everyone!
Hugs & best wishes to both Zoe & Zara.
Have spent the entire day decorating upstairs - still got loads to do! Looking much, much better though! :j
Back to work tomorrow after my long summer break - trying not to think about it - will be okay once I get back into it; & I am looking forwards to seeing everyone again.
DS came back from working at Leeds fest with a dose of swine flu. Some dope that he works with thought it was okay to be at work with it & has, of course, spread it to everyone else.:mad::mad: I've got to pick up some Tamiflu tomorrow after work and the Pandemic website recommended he sees his GP asap as he is coughing up some yucky stuff (sorry to anyone eating!).

soappie - glad you're feeling better this morning, sometimes when you're tired it all seems too much. I had a little cry too last night - must've been the night for it! Was it the Persuasion (yes it is jane austen) with Amanda Root & Ciaran Hinds? I love that one, she's actually my godson's other godmother and is lovely!I agree! I really want to slap Cathy and Heathcliffe and tell them to get a grip! Not sure if I can be bothered to watch the second part tonight....Dustykitten wrote: »Plan to do some work in the back garden and go to the maize maze but not if it's raining. Friend coming round tonight for drinks.
I'm going to have a tidy up tomorrow, it is urgently required! The LR is a big mess, so is the kitchen, the bathroom needs cleaning and the bedroom end of the room could do with some work too, the bed needs changing. Sigh, supposed to be resting as have busy week, but will try to do at least some of the housework. DH is fine for me to leave the chores until next week as have got some important stuff happening this week so might not be able to do much this week, even tho the place is in desperate need."Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

hugs to anyone who needs them.
DS is registering for 2nd year at college tomorrow - form says he needs GCSE certs - they might as well be asking for moondust given the state of this place!
Surely he just needs to prove that he passed last year (which he did - with distinction!)
I feel a panic coming on!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
