Very random in the middle of a cleaning thread although you will probably be cleaning up accidents but anyway...Asda and Tesco do really cheap packs of them about 7 for £2 or something daft like that, you might be able to order them online, dunno, hope it goes well, ive just passed that stage with DS, not planning on going there again!
    Nic

Compared with all the other things us flyladies have discussed I would say it is one of the less random. If you have more pants you will need to wash them less often so related to flying and moneysaving. Good luck! If you get stuck Orkney I can pop into a Tesco or ASDA and buy you a couple of pack and pop them in the post.

20 min challenge as OH is on his way back. I am glad I have kept on top of the kitchen, it got a realy good clean on last weeks flying so is only needing a quick wipe this time. Going to do the cupboard while I do dinner. Having roast chicken again today so I am going to do a basic clean after that for the oven and will aim to get it a bit cleaner each week.

  • Zoe - hugs, it will take a while, glad your friend and Jase are helping

    This morning before work I've:

    S/S kitchen
    Bleached both loos
Cleaned SC pot that had been soaking all night
    S/S living room

Have a question for whoever said they'd made soup (sorry am useless at remembering), cos I made veg soup for 1st time yest and whilst nice I think there's something 'missing' for want of a better word. I used; leeks, onion, potatoes, swede, carrots, cabbage, stock, rosemary/parsley and thyme (though not a lot) and garlic. What else? Many thanks in anticipation

I thought you had to use new packaging for Amazon:confused:

Really? Seems excessive... I don't sell on there so I didn't know, but it will certainly mean I won't buy anything second-hand from them. I don't see the point in insisting on new packaging for second-hand goods. I might even stop buying there altogether... all the sites I buy from regularly reuse packaging.

Dog washed - smell mostly gone, and more fleas murdered. There are obviously still some on her, so she's going to need to have frontline or something similar, as I'm not sure my mum will be able to cope until they've all died of old age (she has program, so they won't breed). One escaped on to me, but I've only been bitten once. I've had a shower and hopefully drowned anything that thought it might hitch a lift

Also hoovered up a giant mutant spider that was sitting next to the dog in her bed . I tried to persuade the dog to deal with it, but she just acted like she couldn't see it!

Washing has just had an extra rinse. I suppose I should go and open the gates seeing as the dog is shut in, and then get my packing done!
