All the woodwork in my hall is glossed:j Will do the 2nd coat tomorrow.
Sorry to hear about your DD, soappie.
Jinky - did you enjoy your lunch at Fridays? Which one were you in?
Hugs to all sick or poorly flyers. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Soappie.. sending hugs for DD.. I'm sure in the long term it is all for the best however hard it is for her at the moment. At least she discovered it now rather than in a few years.
Feeling pretty grotty today if I may say so myself.. my poor homeopath is having her work cut out for her with me this week again.. I'm a tricky sort to deal with.
DS3 is being an absolute barstool at the moment and if he carries on he is getting thrown off the bridge.. he is beating on the others.. he broke the arm off DS2's glasses today which I paid £60 for on Friday last week. they are all playing up every bed time so I have resorted to no warnings you just get a slapped bottom the first time you have to be told... Roll on school next week when they come home exhausted for the first few weeks until they are back into the swing of things lol.
I've done nothing at all today.. I put out a couple of carriers of rubbish, OH cleaned the litter tray, loaded the DW and cleared away a broken ornament.. he is a gem.. we also managed to get his wiper blades replaced on the car so they actually move rain off the screen now..
I've folded and made the children put away a few loads of clean laundry and I had a nap.. and woke up with a pounding headache.. which is refusing to budge now by the looks of it.
beastlets off to god squad summer club again in the morning so i at least get 2 hours off from their bickering and being sheetbags.. I am going to murder them if they carry on!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I sure did, eyes bigger than my belly though:D
was at the Glasgow one, but bizarrely all the staff were from Aberdeen, was the Glasgow staff party, so they had all been bussed down:rotfl::rotfl::heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
Mayfly - as OH has just gone through it...
During the consultation period they are just "reviewing the possibility that you might be made redundant" but are meant to be discussing it with you to try and avoid it (job in different department or some other solution) After you've finished your consultation period, whether it's 30 days (for 20-99 employees) or 90 days (100+ employees) they will then write to you to tell you officially of their decision. They're not legally allowed to make you redundant until you've had all your meetings that you're entitled to and the consultation period is over. If you've got less than 20 employees then I think they can just tell you their decision straight away and that's your notice (ie no consultation period)
ETA something flying related!
