Hey
I haven't posted on here for a bit - so a quick update.
Work = v.v. busy again this last week (aside from the birthday and pay rise wonderment).
I now have 3 whole days off and intend to try and sort a few things out in garden and house -- move around the decorative stones to the area I have cleared (meaning I have to move them a few at a time and wash them through as they have been moved from a very muddy raised bed area) -- am hoping to rope DS in to help me a bit.
If it stays dry, I'll cut the front and back grass for the last time this year - at least it will be tidy.
Money-wise - not too awful. I think I have about £10 to see me to payday on Wednesday. Not a huge amount BUT there is food in freezer and cupboards and nothing to pay cash for over the next few days so that should be fine - and give me another 2 NSDs !
I'm waiting for some post from CCCS - proof of their payments to B. Gas - in response to BG saying that they haven't received the DMP payments since July - twonks !
Ex bloke was here at weekend (mostly mending DS bike!) and, again, we managed to just skirt around each other and no blood was spilt. I don't know if it's even worth having him to visit - there seems nothing between us anymore except a whole heap of history that we are just hanging onto ...........
DS got the scales out yesterday - and (perhaps foolishly) I weighed myself too.
Erm ... a bit of an issue here
I now weigh over 10.5 stone !
It can't all be down to this last week's cake intake - so maybe time to address the lard and get some exercise. Will think about it ..........
Right - another cup of coffee to fortify me, and then out to garden.
Go me !!Aiming to be debt-free, and have my degree, by 50 ! :j0 -

Hey fay (and anyone else who reads this)
Wow ! It's been ages since I made an entry here and haven't even been posting on the 'what small things....' thread either ! That is quite bad of me - but I don't have any sinister reason.
Just work and home and trying to make ends meet - regular payments to my DMP, daily clicks, more work, gathering pennies for DS' Xmas - nothing more interesting than that.
Am so bloody tired all the time.
Police phoned me today -- just to let me know that fella that was driving the car that hit my DS has entered a 'not guilty' plea.
We were all expecting it, but it does mean that the case will go to trial and that DS will appear as a witness, of course.
The case is borderline for the charge, and I'm not convinced that the guy will be convicted ...... but hey ho ..... what's important is that DS has recovered well - it could have been so different.
Am here in my pjs after a nice shower, and going to do a little bit of stitching for a colleague's (due any day now) baby boy - so off I pop
Love and hugs to anyone who wants or needs them

Sorry to hear about DS and the accident chap pleading not guilty
I hope DS is OK though.
BTW - used that lovely box of things you sent me and a nice old posh chocolate box and now DD has a lovely 'craft box' in her present pile
Thank you!Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Blimey - I'm here again !!
I have the day off work today - yes, significant negotiations were required for that to happen.
An update, then ..............
- DMP is going quite well - this month's payment to creditors will mean it's under £18k from original amount of almost £20k --- woo !! I think I have enough funds to get me through the festive period/gifts for DS/a little bit of fancy food etc.....
- DS is fine (Xmas on his mind, and not much else)
- Ex-OH seems to be behaving reasonably well (we are still doing weekend visits, and have avoided murdering each other)
- Parents - fine as far as I know. Mum moved house on Saturday, and I hope she will be cosy and happy there
- Work - as busy as ever/never enough time, and battling the 'recently-apparent-though-previously-never-an-issue' politics
- Home - still needs of tons of things for the house. Surviving on one little heater which doesn't have a hope of warming the space (no central heating here) ---- a bit grim
Me - moody as always, and a bit pi**ed off as I couldn't meet the deadline for the OU course funding application --- how rude was the OU Finance woman !?
So will have to abandon that for now, and consider applying again next year
That's all for now
Hugs to anyone readingAiming to be debt-free, and have my degree, by 50 ! :j0 -
Hi my mess, glad the DMP is going well and congrats on getting below 18k - another milestone reached!
Things looking positive which is always good to see, hope DS is enjoying the run up to Christmas x x x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000
