Another little update from me.
Strange things a-happening at work ..... I have been sort of shunted sideways and into a 'new' role. Doing much of the same things I have been doing over the past 6 months or so - but with greater focus and accountability/ownership. Whilst this idea of this change has been bandied about a bit recently - I was still quite taken aback by how immediate it has come into effect. It does give me the chance to concentrate my efforts, but I can't help feeling just a little bit sad. Maybe I did such a bad job of all the other stuff, that it gives them no real option but to move me along the bus ?
Dunno - time will tell, and I really do need to sustain my income to feed the DMP, so maybe just get on with it, and stop 'feeling' things.
Arrived home to a letter confirming that my DS (15 now) will need to appear as a witness to his accident last year. He's a bit wobbly about it and worried that they will treat him like he is on trial - poor fella. He didn't do anything wrong, and could have lost his life.
I find this really upsetting ...... will come back in a bit maybe .... bear with ....Aiming to be debt-free, and have my degree, by 50 ! :j0 -

Just popping in ........
It's ages since I wrote in my diary - so a quick update.
Almost payday, and I have the huge sum of £20 to last me the week (have already accounted for £20 weekly bus pass and £10 DS pocket money) so will s--t--r--e--t--c--h that as far as possbile towards Friday.
That presents another problem, in a way, as April payday will be a long way off. eeking it all out, all while then !
Haven't been able to put a single penny in my (now at a whole £5) savings - very sad, but hey ho.
Work is still crud.
It's a real shame because up until now - 2 and a half years there - I have been happy enough, despite the heavy workload. I just get the feeling that there's a hidden agenda ...... paranoia perhaps ........
OH and I are still fighting like cat and dog - I don't know why I cant just be a nicer person - maybe then he'd be happy to support me along the way
DS is good - back on the football team - after leaving in a huff a few months ago. He, very graciously, took his place back on the team after 6 players left due to the manager being an arrogant git. We are waiting for the running order for the court case in May, so that I can firm up the days I need to take off work. Not looking forward to it - but there we are.
Mum - still poorly with sciatica, but chipper enough to be excited about her new furniture due to be delivered next week - YAY !
Dad - still not heard from him.
House - messy
Garden - lots of seeds planted (thanks fay, for your welcome contribution). Some seedlings, some action from bulbs and no compost left.
Washing about to finish, tea done for DS and an evening of TV awaits.
Love to anyone reading

Sending love to you north of the border
Will post a lil update in the next few days, hopefully

Well, I haven't posted for ages, so it's time for a bit of an update, methinks.
Here goes :
Work - yuk ! Far too much to do, and not enough time to do it properly ok, so perhaps I am a bit pernickerty)
Mum - a little better - she's got some prescription painkillers, at last
House - still messy - I really do need to do some clearing out and de-cluttering. Carpet needs shampooing as well. Garden - veggie plants are coming on, but I do need to find a way to tidy up the rest of the garden on a ZERO budget
Money - still paying the DMP, so it's coming down (just feels a little bit slow-going)
DS - good, but the court case is in a week's time - not lookng forward to that
That's my lot.
'Til next time

(()) to your Mum and glad somethings finally easing things a bit
What is it that you need to 'tidy up the garden'? I can help with gardening on zero budgets - either tell me or PM me with a picture/link/wish list
Fingers crossed for DS court case
Glad DMP coming down, you're working hard!
I wanted to post this ages ago and sorry for not going to do it sooner
with your craft stuff my DD made this

and my birthday card - which I must take a photo of- she calls it her 'box of delights' and takes it to make cards/pressies for other folks - so a huge thank you for being so kind

Our life is still a bit chaotic - gradually moving to the new house - almost sorted but a month or so yet to go. xx
DS in midst of exams - sure we'll get it all sorted soonish.
Lovely to hear you're OK and doing away. xTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Woo ! Hey fay (and anyone else !)
Fantastic card by your DD - she's a real crafty girl. Glad she has found use for the bits and bobs.
And have been catching up on your diary --- house move etc --- am always in awe of your ability to organise, raise extra funds and juggle (as well as do plant and flower things, of course).
Thanks for the lovely wishes for DS and Mum (I'll pass on the good vibes to them both). We ar ealla little bit stressy about the court thing, but just going to take it day by day and get through it.
OH has been an absolute rock, by the way. Things are looking up there, too
Love to you and yours

Teeny-weeny update :
- house a mess
- work a nightmare
- DS has a girlfriend (!)
- OH intermittently present
- money reasonably on track
- Mum still poorly
- head - a bit wonky
Not sure if that is good or bad (or a mixture of both) - but I have to run and get those dishes done..........................................!
