Hi there fay
Not too bad a month, really.
!!!!-up with the banking thing is my fault - the ins and outs got all mixed up, and somehow I managed to get overdrawn/in a mess.
Anyhow - been paid - and just have to stre-e-e-e-tch it all out to the end of the month, basically.
Have been mad busy at work (including bringing work home to do in evenings and weekends) so have taken my eye off the ball a little. Got two flaming vacancies to fill on my team now, as well !
Must try harder, must try harder .....
BUT - determined to get through this month with at least £1 in my account at the end.
I haven't forgotten about the craft/seedy swap - just a bit bogged down, so forgive me. I will get it together and email you, or PM, my address.
DS is all good - if you count endless swanning in and out of the house, playing football, not doing homework and eating like it's going out of fashion ! It's his age - I forgive him, LOL
Your Lloyds OD is looking really good, by the way - check you out ! LOL
I ought to try and find a way to bring in some more pennies - although I did ask about a pay rise, as you know - and have been told that it is under consideration, so there's some hope.
Weird goings-on with the Ex .. him texting with the suggestion that we embark on some kind of 'weekend' arrangement. Don't know what that's all about - maybe he's missing us just a teensy bit (I say this shrugging and making a face).
Right - am off to get something to eat (still raiding the cupboards and fridge!)
NSDs at 24 for the month - Woohoo ! - All down to buying a monthly bus ticket/taking packed lunches to work/school, and being generally tight/skint
Hugs to you and yoursAiming to be debt-free, and have my degree, by 50 ! :j0 -
Wow, 24 NSDs in a 30-day month - that's incredible!!
Have been reading through your diary and you seem to be doing really well. I love the idea of adding up how many days till your DFD...I'm going to do that tomorrow (if you don't mind me stealing it!)LBM 17th August 2009 Debt at LBM £18,612 Proud to be dealing with my debts.0 -
skids in to say 'Hi' skids back out
What you got planned for the weekend?
And yeah the evil one is looking a bit better - money is in a savings account (keep telling myself MUST NOT TOUCH)Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Right - am up early (been up since about 7am, as I slept on the sofa - again!)
I have to say - this has been a pretty crap week all told - mostly work issues, to be fair, but it had put me on a downer.
Anyway - a great suprise yesterday morning, when a fella came to the door and delivered a beautiful hand-tied bouquet of flowersand a 'chin-up' message from a colleague. How lovely is that ??
Then comes the postman - delivering a crap letter from B. Gas (to whom I owe the sum of £226) - threatening me allsorts of evil stuff as they haven't received their payments.
They are part of my DMP - and have written to me accepting the payment plan put forward by CCCS. So, I'm !!!!ed off now - as the DMP account shows them having paid 4 payments now and B. Gas saying they have only received the one in July. Anyway, rang BG to clarify - the just suggested I contact CCCS and check where they are sending the payments. Grrrrrr.....
AND - I've been fretting over the letter from CCCS which said they wanted to do a review of my plan this month ...... thanks to advice from folk on here, I learn that this is standard practice when you are a few months into DMP.
THEN - Ex turns up on the doorstep. We had agreed that he would be up on Sunday to watch DS play footie match .... but he decides to drive all the way up here (35 miles) 'just to see us both' ........ hmmmm.......?
That turned into a bit of a row - then calmed down, and we parted on 'ok' terms.
He's coming back up this morning to go to DS's football match.
On the money front - things are looking a bit grim.
Monday might (the day I got paid) I ordered a monthly bus ticket online.
I've done this before and all has been well - but this time the bloody thing still hasn't turned up in the post - and I can't find the email confirming the payment I made - I think I have deleted it !!
So - £60 down the pan - no bus pass - have to fork out busfares (daily or weekly which works out more expensive) !! Mighty !!!!ed off.
There may be an issue with the post, of course, but either way - I am !!!!!!ed.
Mr T. delivery is due this morning - I used as much as I could in the cupboards/freezer to get by. Am hoping that it will last me about 10 days if I stretch it all out a bit, as I have about £70 available for the rest of the month after that. So it may well be another 'skin of the teeth' month.
Well - that's alot of doom and gloom, innit ?
I have to have a different head on now (Worzel Gummidge head-switching moment due any second) otherwise I'll slide into another cruddy week.
Soooooooo - as of now (08.50 on Sunday) - it's :
-on with the show
-get stuff done
-deal with it
-sort it
-plan it
Forward, forward, forward .........Aiming to be debt-free, and have my degree, by 50 ! :j0 -
Morning lovie - great flowers and then some rubbish news - ergh - its really up and down at the moment isn't it
I blame the full moon
Loving the wurzel gummage head shift - made me giggle
Just a thought - re the online bus pass - it will be showing on your account soon? YOu can print that off and then maybe get them to refund it or reissue you it
Sorry not much help this end - don't use buses
CCC's needs a swift kick up the jacksie good luck with that
Ex sounds liek he's missing you all................good that he'll turn up later for the footie
Goodluck with the food stretching - trying to stretch mine from the freezer this next month to pay for the frerry to get south for a few days to deliver kids to evil dad (hes nice dad really, just evil to me)
Kids away for 2 weeks in Oct - so hoping to eat just out of the freezer etc when they are away to help pay for a big 6 month shop and the ferry fare.
LOL listen to me moaning
Onwards - enjoy your lovely flowers sounds like you have a lovely chum at work :)xxTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Wow ! it's the 8th of October already ---- only 12 days til my b/day.
Jeez, I' getting old and still not got the settled life that everyone around me appears to have.
Ho-hum.
Another crazy busy week at work.
It just never seems to stop - either that or I am not managing my time too well (that may actually be the case - but I'll try to ignore that for the time being).
Interviewed 6 folk for my 2 vacancies -- and doing a second round for 3 of those. Hopefully, they will come up trumps, and I'll have a full compliment of fucntioning bodies in a month or so.
Money-wise - bloody awful.
I find myself with the princely sum of £83 in the bank and a reserve of about £40 in cash. There's a £30 DD to come out and £80 Child Ben. to go in in a couple of weeks
so, it's 'stretching all the way' until payday yet again for me.
Never mind - my DS is fine and we are eating.
It's been 3 weeks now since I signed up with the Excel sexy chat thing .... recorded my intros (made a right hash of those) and haven't had the opportunity (or perhaps the balls) to login and do some calls.
Must, must, must do something about that -- the way things are going, it could mean the difference between Xmas presents for DS, or not)
Get a grip, me !!!!Aiming to be debt-free, and have my degree, by 50 ! :j0
