Hi coffeeholic, oooh, lucky you going away on hols!! Where to (if I may be so nosy)?

Of course you may be nosy! :D I'm going to Corfu with OH and the in-laws    and I'm still not packed, and the only bikini tankini things I can find I won't be able to get my kneecap in those cups never mind anything else :rotfl:

I am a bit stressed by the way :p

And I am supposed to be at work now :D

Are you on fruit and yoghurt for breakfast or has my memory failed me :rotfl:
I've found it much easier to avoid craving anything sugary by not having anything sugary at all, not even fruit (plenty of veg. for the vitamins though). OK I allow myself half a teaspoon of sugar in coffee but that's not too sweet. If I don't remind the taste buds what they are missing I find it easier to avoid.
May be try this out for a few days / a week to see if it works for you.

I am indeed AdrianHi, but I am trying to have a yogurt before leaving the house so I don't arrive at work starving. Interesting point about sugar, I'm pretty sure it is addictive.
I do similar, but I do allow myself fruit. what I do always remember though is that the further from the equator the fruit is from than the less sugar its going to contain. An apple is a better diet choice than a mango. A mango though, when the treat food, is less ''sweet craving inducing'' than chocolate: so it would be my treat food.

I didn't realise this lostinrates!!! I always thought that bananas and grapes were the highest in calories, and you can grow grapes pretty far north. I mst eat more apples then - nice tangy Granny Smiths of course! :rotfl:

Thanks for the tips, both of you.

I finally got my tankini at TJ Hughes, its not the most attractive looking thing I ever saw but it was only £6 and it keeps everything nicely tucked in. :D

Tara our Boots is only a smallish one so I doubt they would have had what I was after :( thanks though x

I have hardly eaten today, a couple of clementines for lunch and a diet coke, and a gallon of coffee but with all the rushing around I have done today I'm hoping I will have burned it all off.

Right, off to finish my packing, see you all in about 2 weeks

I feel great, you no that eal when you newly commit to sorting yourself out? I have that.

Tara, stay busy tonight, whatabout some ironing, you can't eat while ironing. :) BTW there is a grape diet (I think its a crash diet where you eat nothing but grapes for 48 hours: crazy), and many diets featuring bananas(which are great after exercising, but bananas are from equator-ish regions, not really UK, so come in the treat fruit for me)

    OK!

FWIW I felt a bit sugar deprived earlier (I was out and had forgotten the apple I usually cart with me just in case) and driving home I felt ravenous, but it just sort of ...wore off. I had ratatuille for supper (280ish calories :), it was quite a large portion) and I'm trying to think of good things to eat over the weekend when dh is home.
