Sign me up Dragon, I weighed in at 133.8lb yesterday morning so I put on weight in August! Sigh. I'm not really surprised, I haven't made a real effort. I'm only surprised it wasn't more than 2.6lbs.

Lol the more I think about dieting, the more I want to eat! Think the problem is that thinking about food, even healthy food to be eaten at mealtimes in the future, make us hungry NOW. Nightmare.

mizzbiz, I know exactly what you mean! When I'm trying to loose weight all I can think about is crisps, chocolate and toast!

Good to see you again tara747 (I am also hoping for a better month!)

Re the lipobind - nope not tried it and I don't think I want to - medication mucks my system up enough already so I think I need to do this the hard way

I was looking at the Goldshield site about it and it does seem to be a viable thingy.
  • I'd like to join again for September. In August I lost the grand total of 2 lbs, think I will be lucky to lose 7 lbs by the end of the year, never mind end of the month! :D

But I am still here plodding on and hoping for a miracle. I'm going on my hols for 2 weeks at some god awful hour on Friday morning, so I won't be around most of the month but am going to try extra extra hard to be good while I am away. Last year I piled on half a stone in 2 weeks being a greedy bugga, determined not to do that this time around.

Good Luck to us all for September

OK guys, I am doing very badly already, I think I need a radical plan to keep me away from the chocolate. Something to keep me occupied, esp in the evenings. Otherwise I am in trouble...

Are you on fruit and yoghurt for breakfast or has my memory failed me :rotfl:
I've found it much easier to avoid craving anything sugary by not having anything sugary at all, not even fruit (plenty of veg. for the vitamins though). OK I allow myself half a teaspoon of sugar in coffee but that's not too sweet. If I don't remind the taste buds what they are missing I find it easier to avoid.
May be try this out for a few days / a week to see if it works for you.

I do similar, but I do allow myself fruit. what I do always remember though is that the further from the equator the fruit is from than the less sugar its going to contain. An apple is a better diet choice than a mango. A mango though, when the treat food, is less ''sweet craving inducing'' than chocolate: so it would be my treat food.

Oh, thats a surprise, a lb off this morning. Considering I was miserable yesterday and stuffed curry and a jacket potato AND a slice of apple pie and a scoop of ice cream. This game really makes no sense does it. Unless that lot is waiting to leap on to my stomach today.
