Hey Bowski
I seem to have missed quite a bit of your diary for some reason
Sorry didn't post while you had that nightmare with your daughter's teacher - how awful for both of you!
Hopefully after a while she will forget being told off and just remember her star turn on the stage.
(and anyway, if someone said they were going to say something horrible to a friend of mine, I'd totally tell them first so they were prepared?surely that is being a good friend????)
Glad you had a good time on Boxing Day although shame about feeling bad.
I hope you have a fabby New Year's Eve and I agree with Gwen about washing machine - £135 is pretty good and would be lots better than some HP purchase which always seems to have shoddy APR's!
Maybe all your CSA payments will add up to the cost of the washing machine :rotfl::rotfl:I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -
Happy New Year from me as well & dont forget that Argos are on quidco
Well done on the 5lb weight loss too, you are brilliant0 -
Hi Bowski!
I'm so glad you had a good Christmas and enjoyed your friends 30th!
The washing machine from Argos sounds good, if you could get nicnacnoo to put it on her CC. Easier said than done I know, but don't pay interest unless you have to. My Mum is currently trying to lend me money to pay off my debts so I don't have to pay interest, which is great, but then I never find the same motivation to work hard to pay it off. It's tricky
It sounds like you're doing well with the Bingo, I may investigate... Well done on paying your council tax already! Could you move the Barclarycard to a 0% balance transfer card in March?
Have a lovely time with your Dad! Happy New Year and here's to the most fabulous year of 2010!
Gwenx
Thanks Gwen
I know what you mean about finding the motivation when there's no interest to pay. Could you not lend the money off your Mum and set up a standing order to her account?
You should give the bingo a go...it only takes a couple of mins. And it's not hard to sign up but I wouldn't have been able to do it if my sister hadn't showed me how. But that's purely because I am rubbish at following simple intructions. Wish I could just set it up for you all coz it's just so easy. May not be alot but certainly all adds up.

Yeah, that's what I'm going to do Bowski. I'll set up a SO to pay her back for my debts. She's also offered to lend me the rest of the money I need to renovate my house :A When she does that I'll just move my SO that goes into my savings to go into her account until I've paid her back.
I'll look into bingo, how much do you get from it roughly?
GwenxThough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -

Hi Makeup.... I'm not sure how that happens with the posts but the same thing happened to Lula. No worries though, you're here now
Funny you mention the CSA as I had another random payment this week of £47No idea atall what that's about but I put it straight into my savings account coz I don;t know what to do with it,scared of spending it in a way. I have a feeling it may be going towards my washer though :j

That's brill you've decided to go for it, I think it's got to be the best option. No interest aswell so you'll know exactly how much you owe each month.
I've not made alot from bingo, just what's in my sig... almost £30 I think. That's from since I joined in August. It's just free money, at least 80p a day so I look at it as a copper jar, they soon add up! Butlins you get cash and Take a break its bonus money...so I let it go up to about £10 and then play. I've only got £7.70 from that but it's still better than a kick in the teeth. I also joined them through a pigsback so got points too.Initial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80
