Yeah Lula it was 98p if I remember rightly :rotfl: And although it was a bargain it ended up being a waste as unfortunately he lost interest in her within 3 months so she didn't even see him on his b'day lol
The stuff is now on my Ebay pile
What's lightspeed surveys? I have tried surveys in the past but they always made me go through the first stages and then told me they alreayd had enough people of my age group..blah blah! I've not heard of lightspeed though. I did do onepoll, I'm going to go back on there see if my account still has money in.
Well done on your £10 voucher :j:j Oh it's so exciting lol

Hi Bowski, have you tried online shopping at Tesco? There is usually a code on the discounts board or the Food and Groceries board. I usually do a £50 shop every fortnight or so and always find a code to reuduce it, in the last couple of months I have had either a £5-10 off per shop or a 500pts extra code. It does stop me spending loads and I always do a shop every fortnight so I can take advantage of the codes for £50+.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0

Hi Sarah- Thanks for your advice. I have been thinking of this recently as now I've found out more about the clubcard points I'm thinking of trying to collect some. I have a couple of receipts as I thought I was going to be able to give the codes to SBC but couldn't so I might aswell put them onto my card. Also when I cleaned my room I round £3.50 money off vouchers so that's a bit of a head start
I just wish I knew all this at the beginning of the year, I dread to think how many points I've thrown away. I don't do big shops there but often nip to tesco for bits and it soon adds up!
It will save on petrol too won't it and I won't be tempted to go near the books. The other day I counted and I had 65 books on my shelf that I've not read yet
Reading Gargoyles was on my list for the year so I'll have to get it read. I did try get it from the library the other month but I had a charge on my account which was from a friend not taking a book back so I've just thought now I can get Nicnacnoo get it out for meInitial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80

Hi Bowski
Congratulations on your diary!! And thank you for always posting on mine. It's much appreciated. I have now subscribed to yours
How is your no choc challenge coming along? I went without chocolate for 2 and a half years once so won't be joining you any time soon. I love it way too much now. Didn't miss it when I wasn't eating it though.
I'm also going on holiday for a week this month. Off to Barcelona and cannot wait! Where are you going? Camping maybe
Anyway, I shall make sure I keep up with all your going's on.

Day one of no chocolate has been survived.... only another 29 to go!
Why have you de-activated your fb account?

Hi RMR...thanks for popping over
Wow, I can't believe you went 2 n half years without eating chocolate :eek::eek: That's some acheivement! I'm hoping that I won't miss it because I know I can go days without it but it's once I have one bar I always want more and I really crave it until I get my hands on some. Normally I'll just get some without thinking about it so that's why I wanted to do the challenge, to make me actually think about it and if I'm honest I'm hoping a month will turn into 2 months...etc. What brought on you not eating it for such a long time? If you wanted to give up anything else you're welcome to join us.
I'm going on holiday to Butlins @ Skegness :j:jWe got a really good deal and it's dinner, bed and breakfast so we really shouldn't have to spend much on food. I've not been before and I am so excited, I'm going with DD, my sister and her 2 little ones. I'm trying to lose a few lb's before then to make me feel better as I want to get up and dance with the kids but I know I won't if I feel uncomfortable. Even if it's just a few lb's, I won't look any better but I'll feel it.
Hope you have a fantastic time in Barcelona  Did you go last year too?
Well Done SarahNeedle on surviving the day with no choc :T How did you find it? Like you say there's only 29 day's to go. Not alot out of a lifetime is it
Nicnacnoo is right about my facebookI felt totally addicted, I don't think I've ever had a day when I've not been on it  I've only de-activated it so can activate it again at any point but I'm going to leave it as long as possible. I have loads of stuff I want to do in the house and books I want to read and sleep to catch up on so that all needs acheiving before I go back on it. Plus it's starting to become a place where people b!tch about others, can't be doing it, I'd rather be addicted to this site
I hope everyone's managing ok on day 2 of the challengeInitial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80

Oh I opened my xmas pot and I had £178.50p in there :j:j I'm really going to try not buy any tat this year, I normally buy a load of rubbish just to bulk it up a bit but I'd rather buy things that DD wants even if it doesn't look much. I was thinking of getting a Digital Camera as I have no idea what else to get her, she's not getting anymore consoles and her step dad is getting her a bike. Anybody have any other idea's what to get an 11 year old?
I've got nothing done on my list for today other than going out for dinner which wasn't too hard :rotfl: I have managed not to have chocolate so far and I'm not craving it yet :j Diet's not gone too bad, had a jacket for dinner and having a roast for tea so plenty of vegI tend to have fruit of a night coz that's when I'm looking for things to eat and I've not bought any bread so I can't eat toast.
Back to work for me tomorrow so definitely an early night
Also I am starting to support a new family for my charity work tomorrow so that's straight after work. I don't feel as scared as I normally do and haven't really thought much about it until today. I'll probably feel sick tomorrow though. Ah it'll be worth it, I always end up enjoying it.Initial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80
