    Afternoon

Well I do feel awful this morning, think I went to sleep about 6am...hope you are feeling better than I am :D Late at night is when i start munching so I will have to try to go to bed at a decent hour, I normally go about 2am too. My job has flexi hours so don't know if its a good or bad thing, as I don't have to get up too early, but I can easily waste a morning because i'm tired.

My plan is to lose weight by cutting out snacking, I hadn't really thought about it, but yes thats going to include chocolate isn't it  I'm aiming for a pound a week. I've bought a nice big bar of chocolate today so that will be a final blow out.

I'm just trying to motivate myself to start cleaning the kitchen cupboards out. Hope you have a good day, especially if its the christening today xxx
  • Hi Bowski
    Welcome to diary land :)

    *another subscriber* :D

I spend way to much each month on my biggest weakness - Chocolate - so I think I will be joining Lula and your self with the September no chocolate challenge.

Good luck with your Debt Free journey

Hi Bowski, another subscriber here:D happy new diary:jAm looking forward to reading about all your exploits:D

I shall join you and Lula in your no biscuits in September challenge (not difficult as I don't much care for biscuits:D).

I would also like to lose 2 stone-ish by Christmas so in September I will not buy any take-aways at all, I shall only eat what I have at home and use the snack machine at work in an emergency only.

I know what you mean about your house, my room isn't exactly cause for alarm either, but I do feel better when it's completely clutter free. One think I have found really helpful is to make a list on here of all the things I need to get done, it's very satisfying to tick them off and shows you how much you have got done. :j

Definitely post an SOA if you can, you might be surprised at how much the fabby peeps on the main board can save you.

I would definitely throw away all your old bank statements, I threw a huge pile of unnecessary paperwork last week and it looks much tidier. If you need them you can always print them out again.

Good luck with your new diary and your biscuit challenge:A

    Afternoon everyone :hello:
Welcome all the subscribers and thanks for taking the time to read my non-boring diary ;)

I don't know how I managed it but I felt fine when I woke up at 10:15 this morning! I was absolutely dreading waking up as I think I finally fell asleep about 5:20, I'm definately going to try and be in bed for 12 tonite as that's an ideal time for me. Any earlier and I feel like I've overslept. Once I fell asleep at my sisters house at 9:15pm and was awake by 4:30 came home, cleaned my house and was round a friends at 7 for bekkie... Thank god for friends with children that get up at the crack of dawn, although somehow I don't think she's as grateful of it as I am :p

Lula biscuits is a great one and yes I'd love to give up fruit too but I somehow don't think giving up fruit could be called a challenge, not for me anyways :D Great idea to stuff as many biccies down you as humanly possible today! I can easily eat half a pack without realising it, I ate half a pack at Nicnacnoo's yesterday without telling her :o She's never suprised to find half her goodies gone though when I'm around.

Show Gal..I did get there in the end..Thanks for forcing me into it ;)

Hi Buffy...Yep you definately must have been dreaming! Are you going to pledge to give up something for september then, a bit of a boost to help kick start your new start?

Zippy.. Good afternoon! Working flexi time must be a complete nightmare! That would never work for me, I don't think I'd ever actually turn up :rotfl: Cutting out snacking is something I really need to do, and also be more organised with meals as when I'm hungry I'll eat anything and everything I can get my hands on! Did you managae to make a start on the kitchen cupboards?

Hi Palema... Welcome! You're crazy enough this challenge to then hey?! Why on earth does chocolate have to taste sooooooooooo good  I've just eaten half my dairy milk I was meant to be using to make my friend rice crispie cakes with...oops!

I've gotta dash, go pick my friend up from the train station her train get in in 1 min, she's gonna be fuming lol I didnt think it'd take me so long to reply.

Hope everyone has a good day and anyone on the challenge eats lots ready for tomorrows start. You know we can do it girls don't ya!:T

I've got to the bottom of page 1 and still no camping!
Are you serious? Camping for fun is a joke isn't it? :rotfl:

Where do you plug in anything?

I did it for years with the Scouts, I hated the tent part of camping, I always wanted my own bed :rotfl:

Phew... my friends train must have been a couple of mins late as she wasn't mad at me

Hi Sarah, thanks for subscribing! Thanks for your advice. I shall be starting my lists on Tuesday, I'm going to try not aim too high as I like to see things being crossed off and when I start having lists that have nothing crossed off then I'll just give up!
No take-aways for you it is then :j Does that mean you'll be having one last one for tea tonite then ;).
I shall make a start on my SOA soon as I'm up to date with my subscribed threads.

Hi Oliveoyl :hello: Yes, you will find my diary has naff all to do with camping... I blame Sarahb :p
The tent part of camping is my favourite bit! I cheat and have an airbed with my quilt on and sleeping bag and fleece so it's almost always as comfortable as being at home. I don't do the electric hook up thing as I only go for 1 or 2 nights but I found a site this year that had plugs and mirrors in the toilets so I could straighten my hair :j:j Needless to say I'll be going there again! It also happens to be a campsite that has caravans that alot of contractors stay in, but that's another story

Well today was gonna be the start of the big tidy..but again it hasn't happened  But my friend has already said she's going to come round to keep me company tomorrow while I set too so I'll wait till then (The SAID bunch have alot to answer for when it comes to me making these lame excuses to get out of anything and everything!! )

I've got a friend sleeping tonite an we're going to watch 17 again, has anyone watched it? I've also got Marley and me so I might watch that too it's meant to be a bit of a tear jerker! This so called friend is buying chinese...It's going to be my 5th this week :o I maybe shouldn't admit that but as my new healthy eating regime begins tomorrow then I don't mind. It gives you an insight of how bad my eating habits are and how much I NEED to change, it's not just that I want to. I said no at first but she said she was getting one anyways and as she can only eat half then the rest will go in the bin..I would cry so I've gotta eat it. She's been a bad influence on my eating for many years but she said her diet starts tomorrow too thank god. She mentioned bringing bacon for the morning I had to remind her that we were dieting tomorrow and I have weetabix :D

I must go catch up on other threads....
