its a beautiful, sunny day here too hot to do anything, there will be plenty of cold days to catch up on the work
had a walk and a blether with a few people which is nice and am keeping an eye on my little pond as i have tadpoles in it dont want it to get to low in water
littlest grandson has a cold just now so he is wakening up at four am, glad i am past that..lol

pooky - hope your dd is feeling better now, ours always used to get grazed knees when they went into shorts, hope kitty has come home too

moggins - dont feel bad about your relapse dont you just feel sometimes you are banging your head against a wall, dont let them get to you

pp - the iron will be worth it if it gives you more energy for the summer

hope all the little ones are getting on fine with their exams

    love to all

    EEEEK SCREAM AND SHOUT!!!!
    EEEEEEKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!

Oh that's better out than in. And breathe deeply....

Sorry for that fit of temper....was at a meeting this afternoon during which an ignorant manager decided to publically highlight a few minor errors and oversights I had made, but in that horrible smiling fork-tongued sideways manner. In my mountain of work it represents possibly a 0.05% error rate. There was not a peep out of my own manager in my defence. How embarrassing, it was all I could do to bite my tongue. I am trying to tell myself that her snide manner is a reflection of a flaw in her character. I am going to have a word with my manager - this is the second time it has occurred involving the same manager and it is unnecessary.

Katrina-Trying-To-Save...can I send some of my managers to you for human experimentation? No ethics required for this lot!! I can have them on the 9.00 am bus to Belfast tomorrow...

Pooky, I hope your kitty has come back safe and sound. They are such a worry, especially when they do their disappearing acts.

Moggins - absolutely no need to thank me! I gave up cigs so speak from experience. They are devilish little monsters, how they call you when you are at your most weak - it's one of their dirty tricks. Don't give in, keep resisting their calls as the cravings will disappear. The time between cravings gets a bit longer and longer...then one night you'll be lying in bed and you'll think...Oh I didn't think about ciggies today!

I'm off for a walk now, going to pretend I am stomping on that damn woman's head!

hows it got to this time already?????

I don't seem to have got through half the things i had planned for this afternoon, and have run out of steam. I did get my year 10 papers marked, but i've got to prioritise doing my lessons next.

I'm having a break though. I'm going to go and wash my hair with my tea tree shampoo and see if that wakes me up a bit. If not i'll follow with a mug of caffeine and have to work through it.

Snowy - enjoy your walk and don't let them grind you down. Only 2 more get-ups for this week.

The bathroom is calling me. Wish me luck in getting everything done. ;)

What a glorious day it's been! Shame I've spent most of it in the car.....
Finally got my car back from the garage tonight at long last. Now I just need to get my insurance excess back via my solicitor & it's all sorted.
OH is going to be late home; good job I made a huge batch of Curry Queen's base curry sauce on Sunday night, and turned one portion into a chicken korma last night, so no cooking to do thankfully (other than sling the rice in a pan).
Bargain Rzl - no JB today :( shame!
Hugs to all, especially Snowy Owl who works for a bunch of morons, elona who is doing fabulously well & moggins - you can do it!
    Welcome to Georgina too

Just ordered 12 bottles of wine for delivery next Wednesday night. How can I survive 7 days? I'm sure I'll cope! ;)

I've done the shopping for the week - it all looks incredibly healthy at the moment!

I had a bit of a bad day at work. I kept on bursting into tears. Luckily some of the other teachers helped me out and one of them even took my class out for PE this afternoon.

OH has told me that he's now on his way home, so hopefully he'll be back sooner rather than later and I can have my supper!

I've just had a lot of fun. Had a cold call from '3g networks' trying to get me to accept a mobile phone (& assumably contract too). I'd just been sick and so needed cheering up a bit. Had a great time wittering on about this that and the other....essentially talking rubbish after everyword he managed to get in edgewise. He ended up putting the phone down after only 2 mins spoiling my fun.

So unfair. I wanted to play a bit longer.

    Good evening everyone,

Welcome Georgina, hope you enjoy it here in OS!!!

Moggins - i think you are doing really well, you have gone more than 2 days without a ciggy, and when you do have one it tastes horrible!!! I hope that the debt collection agency sort themselves out soon and i think you should feel proud of yourself!!!

Pooky - hope you kitty has come home!!!

Snowy - your managers sound horrible, sending nasty thoughts their way for you!!!!

VickyA - ((((HUGS)))) youve had a rough couple of weeks, hope OH gets home soon, and tomorrow is a better day at work.

Elona - ((((HUGS)))) to you as well, and hope your dad is well enough to start his chemo soon x

(((((HUGS))))) to anyone i have missed out, opened a bottle of Lambrini (im such a classy girl!!! but it was in the fridge and needs using up, and it would be rude not to!!!) and have already drunk half of it, so my memory isnt what it was!!!!
Well, ive had quite a productive day, got all the washing up to date, bread made, kitchen and bathroom cleaned and i even did some gardening!!!! The little ones have had a lovely time in the garden, it is so nice now the weather is getting better to let them play outside, it tires them out, and they enjoy it so much.
DD went back to school, her teacher has said he will do her writting SAT another day, as she missed it yesterday, and she came home all excited today, as she has been moved into the 'times table' group for mental maths, as she has been doing so well, so one happy little girl and one very proud mummy!!
Well, going to put my children to bed, finish my wine (can you call lambrini that, more like alcoholic pop!!!) and watch last nights Lost, that i taped, hope everyone has a lovely evening.
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Evening all

Harvey (the cat) decided to return at lunch time - covered in coal dust and sawdust.... I assume he was locked in a shed....I put an appeal on the local radio for people to check their sheds.....the DJ has just emailed me to ask if he's home - bless!

DD2 is fine now - they bounce back so quickly.

Managed to get the grass cut tonight - back garden takes both of us over an hour of cutting and strimming once a week - looks lovely for a day and then grows again

Now relaxing with a rum and coke (didn't buy wine this week) and very nice it is too.

Moggins - Big hugs to you - You've got enough to cope with - don't worry about a small hiccup like that - just put your determined hat back on when you're up to it.

Hugs to all who need one.

Went to hospital dreading what I would hear as dad had looked so ill yesterday.

They have started chemotherapy and will give him more blood tomorrow.

He actually looks a bit better - even DH thought so!

Have to go get his washing done for tomorrow and DD is nagging me for her PE kit!

No rest for the wicked. I have just got in the house!
