Afternoon Guys
Have had good and bad news today:D
1st(Good news)-10,000 points credited to my Nectar account from OH doing Ford testdrive and OH went to Argos and bought the Steam Generator with the 3year cover for £7.50 (well thats all we had to pay as we used our points:D ) SIL has done our ironing with it today and she says it fantastic and has cut down the time. I am really impressed with it. Wasnt brand named but for the same in a Brand it was nearly triple the cost with exactly the same features:p
2nd (Bad news)-One of the consultants have emailed with some blood results and Im more anaemic now than i was 3 weeks ago and need to have Iron InfusionsAs you know Im really not good with needles and when I had one when I was preggers with DD-it was really painful! Will they be able to knock me out whilst doing it?
Moggins-Hugs hun.
Washload drying on the line. OH has been to B&Q and has put more skirting down. Golf has been postponed till next week as his DD was ill. SIL has done me blinds, floors, drawers and ironing for me.
Will be putting chicken in soon and slowly roast. Maybe have dinner earlier, dd have a bath then put a film on....not sure yet. Feeling a little fed up.
Anyway, must make some calls.

:hello: Thanks for the welcome.
I've posted in the 'getting to know you' thread here.
Moggins it sounds like you deserved the ciggy. As melancholly said, if that's all you did, you're doing well. :grouphug:"No matter how little money and how few possesions you own, having a dog makes you rich." - Louis Sabin0 -

I'm only up because Ive just been reading the "how do you organise your airing cupboard thread" - fantastic reading and such a laugh.
gotta go bed now, got to go to a funeral tomorrow. eek!
TTFN
Hope everyone has a good wednesday.
Hope the funeral went ok.
We went to Longleat, as like Elveden is to you, its the nearest one to us. However, our fave one is Sherwood, as it much more compact and there are no hills - so great for the kids on their bikes.
Dove tan cream is still going well, its much more noticeable than the Johnsons and still smells great.
Have a good day all

Hey Moggins, don't give yourself a hard time, you are only human after all. You've enough to get annoyed with without getting annoyed about having a cig - so you had a ciggie in a moment of weakness BIG DEAL!! It's not that bad, you have learnt from it! Firstly it changed absolutely nothing about what upset you - a thousand million cigs won't address those problems (sorry!) but you are already taking decisive action anyway. Also, the cig made you feel sick and dizzy - your body told you that it absolutely does not want cig pollution in it. So that really was the last cig you'll ever have. Be proud of yourself for having given up for so long - yes, only since Monday, but that is a long time for a new ex-smoker! You had a blip, now carry on as before. It's a fact that you will get annoyed or upset again in the future. Be prepared and rather than think "cig cig cig" make yourself concentrate on your breathing and the clean air in your lungs. Breathe very slowly and very deeply, in...hold for five seconds, then let it out very very slowly and repeat 20 times at least. Imagine that lovely clean air blowing onto your firey feelings and cooling them right down.
Go on Moggins, practice now! Imagine the fresh clean oxygen in all your body's cells. Go on, do it!!
Sorry everybody else...I do like to witter on I know...ignore me (but not you Moggins!!!).

You lot are wonderful, has anyone told you lately.
Especially you Snowy, I wish the thanks button was still around, it was quite revealing though, how sick it made me feel, how the hell did I get used to doing that every day?Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

snowyowl glad they don't seem to just be picking on you, hope you find another job b4 you go to uni.
moggins - hugs, just act as though the blip didn't happen. re the debt will they let you pay in installments and then you can get your ex to give you the money for them (i take it he dosn't have the 13k to clear it at once). hope the cab can sort it out for you.
we've been busy again and the front garden is looking very tidy now the grass has been cut. we painted the steps front and back yesterday and it's made such a difference.
going to take chicken out for a thai red curry for dinner.
got to go and get some work done now.

Hello all,
it's a lovely sunny day here. I'm going out after w**k with one of my friends to walk her doggies (poodles; one standard, one toy, both black). The standard is quite a naughty girl & pulls a lot on the lead, so think I will walk the lttle one (an old man of 15) as he is much better behaved!
Puss cat has been back to see the dental nurse & her remaining teeth & gums are much better. She has to have her teeth brushed once a week & can be taken back anytime to see the dental nurse for free. So think she'll be much happier from now on.
Am planning on making a pizza & some garlic bread to have with a salad for dinner. Mmmm, looking forward to it already.
Hugs to all those that need them.
