PAID - I actually think thats got the potential to come back and bite you all on the a$$, especially if there is no consistency between what people are being told. I know its unfair to now go back on what the guys been told but surely there is a guide as to what he can take etc.....Wealth is not measured by currency0

Thanks for all the Happy Birthday wishes. I am still housebound but having a lovely day. OH got me a purple/blue Sony Vaio laptop which I am thrilled with. Have been getting lots of texts and facebook messages all day so feeling very loved. Lol!
In money news, my mortgage account was taken over by Bank Of Ireland and it looks like I can make overpayments of £500 instead of £2000 when it was Bradford and Bingley. Am waiting for the details to come through but as there isn't a huge amount of difference between the interest rate for both I might chop & change which I overpay. Am quite excited about the prospect of overpaying on my mortgageTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Glad you are having a nice birthday.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
Happy Birthday CMD!
Hope you had a lovely day! Wow, a laptop, great present!
We went up Pen Y Fan on Saturday, got there half 8. WAs lovely though overcast and not clear sunny sky's like last year. Had my first go on a snowboard (am a skiier, but never tried boarding) was good fun but arms are knackered from pushing myself up after falling.
Catch you up tomorrow, going to bed now, tired though didn't do much today.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

Thanks Starnac!
What were you allowed to overpay before? We could only overpay £2000 or more. I am waiting for the details to come through but when I was looking on their website last night they said that you could now make overpayments of just £500. It would be worth checking. Hopefully, it is the case as it is motivating, the thoughts of paying £500 at a time.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Morning ladies!
I have found a place I want to rent, sharing with just one other. Rent including bills is at the top of my budget, but I'll manage. There's two cats as well, can't wait to have some animal company as well, if things work out. Will keep you posted.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
sounds good tirl'
have you met the person you'd be sharing with?
And is it still within your budget?Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Have met the lady, she's nice, would get on with her well. She's not always in the country either so will be having some time just on my own as well.
Yes Miss (;)), still within my budget, have made sure of that. Some adjustments to other figures needed, but doable.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0
