I have moved twice when pregnant (and second time was an enforced move due to OH getting a job in another city) so I feel your pain!
It is unreasonable of your DH to expect your sister to have you there any longer than a stopgap, but at the same time it might be better to wait until he gets his first pay cheque before you go anywhere. At least it is warm and comfortable there. How will you kit out a new place and pay for all the extra costs? You also need to sort out your debts with the CAB before you go anywhere.
I thought your Mum and Dad were buying you a house and you were renting. Has that changed?Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

they cant afford to buy a house as the money they would be using is tied up in my grandads house, so my dads inheritance, but his brother lives there and is trying to organise buying them out, so it doesnt look like that'll happen for at least a year.
we have everything we need for a house in storage from the old house so no kitting out really needed unless we needed to buy an oven or washing machine (the only things we dont have)
DH's thought on it was to find a job, stay on for 2 plus months and use his first months wage to clear HIS arrears to his creditors so that he can apply for a debt relief order....
Im just issed because he works out all these plans for himself, ignores what ive been saying previously, and doesnt seem to think about me in his big grand plan.....
Im probably just more annoyed at how our lives are right now, and i cant help but resent hubby a bit, i know he didnt do it intentionally, but im just frustrated, but being a step away from homeless, unemployed, in debt and pregnant all at the grand age of 25 is doing my nut!
two more rejections in the post as well.....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

Your poor thing
I can understand why you are mad at your DH for not discussing it with you, but it does sound sensible, as long as your sister is up for that.
Fingers crossed one of you gets a job soon. Were the rejection letters yours or your DH?Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

mine....
its like because im opting to not mention being pregnant, the gods are conspiring against me....
Am no tempted to offer to volunteer in a charity shop just to get out of the house for a couple of hours a week.....
Thing is i dont really want to ask my sister, mainly because i dont wanna stay lol and also because it wasnt really what they agreed to, and i dont want them to feel obligated to say yes....
just hoping now that dh's assessment goes well on thursday.
feel a bit better now as i just gave up, and sobbed my eyes out and dh was laying with me, stroking my hair, and ive eaten now as well LOL which always helpsWealth is not measured by currency0 -

What were you allowed to overpay before? We could only overpay £2000 or more. I am waiting for the details to come through but when I was looking on their website last night they said that you could now make overpayments of just £500. It would be worth checking. Hopefully, it is the case as it is motivating, the thoughts of paying £500 at a time.
It was £1000 before. Sorry i wasn't clear. I was wondering if it had also gone down to £500 like yours. That's much more attainable than £1k.

Hope you feel better today CAFC
My mother is putting money into the bank today to go towards our pram (which we paid for already) so as soon as it lands I am going to overpay on the loan. Am quite excited to do this as I have previously been overpaying on just the credit cards. Still no sign of a 0% deal from Virgin. On my online Virgin account it says that there are promotional deals but you have to ring up to get them. I think I will wait until I get a letter from them as they might provide a better offer via the post. Then I will balance transfer some money from the Virgin account and pay a big chunk off the loan. We have had that loan (and topped it up) for about 5 years so really want to see the back of it.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

My 'fun' challenge for the start of the year will be to get my 4th star here. I think it's at 2000 posts so including this post, I still need 256 more to achieve it. How long do you think this will take? I should be able to make it before end of February surely?DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0
