No you not failing like me, thats just a blip.
What was it something nice??Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Well I started with cappuchino coffee and a ham and cheese toastie £5 - on my own in costa coffee while reading my psychologies magazine from a subscription paid for by Tesco clubcardNo you not failing like me, thats just a blip.
What was it something nice??
I then bought some books in a charity shop to help me relax probably another £2-3
I then went to look for some lavendar incense sticks and ended up spending £27 on some silver love heart earings - 2 on the end of a long bit of silver - so they dangle and move. A bit victoriana style - which I fell in love with. I then also bought some turquoise dangly earings for £12 - not sure if they are for me or for a present but really liked them. They were both from a one-off shop kind of place where they get one of a kind in but won't necessarily ever get any more the same. That's my excuse and I am sticking to it! My other excuse if I need one is that OH was supposed to get me jewellery for xmas and didn't as strangely by xmas eve all the nice stuff had gone!!!:rotfl:
So then went and got DD from school and came back into town so she could put her pocket money in the bank - she now has £53 in a building society account - really proud of her. She wanted to spend £1 in the Works - so I went in and spent £11 - £6 on books, £5 on unnecessary craft stuff. I then still wanted my incense sticks so went to a shop to try and get them - but they were out of stock so I spent another £10 or more on scented candles, magic colour change candles and other unnecessary stuff :rotfl:Still not quite regretting it - but it is these types of spend that have made up my debt and stop me paying it off quickly enough - so I should!:oAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Too right - at one point I started taking out just £5 a week for what I called unnecessary spends and leaving my cards at home - that worked well and I think I should probably try and go back to that!Ahhh well all in all its not the end of the world.
