hi everyone.

well done to cafc's OH on the job and to tirlittan on the house move.

naughty saving on the spending. (i am sat here on my high horse :A as that's the kind of thing i would do and i am pleased it's not me for a change )

DH has got an interview tomorrow morning. we've all got our finger's crossed cos he really wants it and we need the money. i got accepted for a c/c that has 0% BT til march 2011 so i'm going to move some off the mint card (17ish%) then pay off what's left so that'll save us some money in interest.

i've started my christmas presents for next year and went back to church for the first time since the snow came in (they cancelled the services due to what is mostly an ageing congregation, h&s etc) so am feeling quite good about myself. :j

DH has his paramedic interview tomorrow as well, annoyingly he has to leave at 12 to get there, and the midwife is due round from 10 to 12, so knowing our luck she'll rock up at 12!
So far hes missed just about everything LOL

Just as I get back into the gym lark I've come down with another throat infection, swollen glands etc. boo! I get about 1 infection a month in the winter. Has anyone got any tips for avoiding them? I already eat healthily, it's not fair :mad:.

short of recommending chiropratic care and gargling salt water, nowt i can think of.....

Isn't chiropratic care for back problems? I didn't know it helped prevent infections too. Will give the salt water a go, thanks. *cough, splutter*

Nah it helps a lot with the immune system, and so infections etc.

DH didnt get the job.
(im a bit annoyed with him because I told him to phone the dvla beforehand)
Turns out he doesnt have the necessary license.....and he also didnt check he had the right passport so took mine! And it was all going so well LOL
Apparently they're recruiting again at easter so he can try then... and at least he has this call centre job...

Sorry your DH didn't get the job

But yay to your scan on Thursday! I had my re-scan last Thursday and the placenta had moved up so was well happy with that. It was weird seeing the baby so squashed though!

asked dh if we can go bk down south 4 a few days after as well.... im desperate to see our puppy.... really missing im

cab today, gna try to sell ome dvds we've got as well to a shop in town...dh is in a right mood and ive got really bad toothache.... no fun....

CAFC, sorry about the job. Sounds like it was just a technicality though with the driving license, so he can apply again and like you said, at least he has another job until then.

Hope your tooth's feeling better. Did you get anything for the DVDs?
