CAFC, sorry about the job. Sounds like it was just a technicality though with the driving license, so he can apply again and like you said, at least he has another job until then.

Hope your tooth's feeling better. Did you get anything for the DVDs?

I agree with Snow White it does sound like a technicality.

To cheer you up I am posting up some photos of the stuff I have bought for the baby, including the outfit for when it is born (as we don't know the sex). This will be you soon when your OH starts working!!! The pram is the red and black one.

Thanks Doodles, I am pleased with them. Got an unexpected rebate from JSA (£67.50) today so that covers the moses basket. My parents paid for the pram and OH's parents are paying for the cot so just need to find another £80 for the moses stand and sheets and we will be sorted.

The only other major things I need to get are baby monitors and an electric breast pump. Then smaller things like a changing mat etc. It's all starting to get exciting now!

I will be 36 weeks on Friday. I know I will probably end up buying stuff that I won't use too but it's so exciting with the first baby! I am hoping we will be lucky enough to have 2 so they can all be passed down and then given to my sister when I am finished. We have had to buy everything because we live away from home so missed out on getting stuff from my friends but it will be nice to be able to give them away to my sister when I am finished.

Defo! I could be sensible but it is too exciting!

I am feeling good but am getting heartburn which isn't very nice. Am supposed to be working up til 38 weeks but have accrued some TOIL so am hoping to go at about 37+4.

As soon as mat leave begins I am putting my feet up though! Have started batch cooking so want that all done by the time I finish work. Then the couch will be calling!

If I could offer and advice I would say chill out every single day until bubs arrives, life changes so much after. Enjoy every single minute of it, you deserve it :D

That's really good advice. That's why I am a bit manic at the moment. I just want to get everything done and have a few days relaxation, go and get my hair done and get my eyelashes tinted etc!
