Oh dont leave it boxed up - get it out and experiment. Am still quite a novice with mine and just tend to 'bung' things in there and hope for the best - the meat comes out so tender it is fab. Talking about it I better go and check on mine and sample it
Speaking of recipes, I'm due to suggest the next one - Poppy did you know about this? Tilly gave us all a lovely recipe first for us all to try then we're going to take it in turns to suggest further ones and Laura is going to give us low fat versions of them all (oh yes you are, L!). I will put mine up over the weekend if that suits everyone then it's there for next week.
Did see the tagliatelle recipe and looked yummie but dont know whether son would eat it and seems such a waste to do for one unless it can be frozen.
Book club wise I will also choose one from my shelves over the weekend and pop that in the post to Robsmum (I think that's right isn't it?).
What sort of books does everybody like? Have a load here that I have been meaning to take to the local book fair for the last two years :rotfl:

Yes thats a cool name but really, what blazes kinda job does she have? Can you imagine seeing her CV? I have images of Pollyanna or that girl in Series 10 of friends called Precious :rotfl:

You're right, I definitely need to get my slow cooker out. I think it came with a little recipe book which I will investigate.

Books-wise I'll pretty much read anything except horror! I love crime novels, esp Ian Rankin and Patrick Robinson. I'm not much of a chick lit fan these days as I find them a bit fluffy and samey but they're good to read at bedtime when you can't be bothered to concentrate!
The book doing the rounds at the mo is We Need To Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver which I thought was excellent if not a bit disturbing! What books do you like Poppy?

It's getting ridiculous now. When I watch DOND and Noel is referring back to past games I know exactly which ones he's talking about.

If you like crisps and cheese sandwiches try this....

Plain pringles or salt and vinegar pringles with soft cheese - put the soft cheese on one pringle and bang the other on top and WHAM pure food perfection. Nom. (can't get the little dribbling man to work but that's what I'm doing right now...)

Right, how ungrateful am I - I've been invited to a (FREE) champagne reception tonight and I've turned it down because I'm tired and want to go home and put my PJs on Partly coz I'm sat in the office in my jeans (casual fridays) and partly because I really am pooped! Done so much this week and getting my job ready for someone else to take over is hard blinking work... gosh isn't life hard:rolleyes:. /sarcasm.
