Just checked and it was actually 30/3/09 that I had me 'OMG paid back £1000!' post. That is 6 months and 2 days
Which means I have cleared off £166 per month. I've paid more but that pesky interest got in the way!
Next step- get a 0% card for my HSBC card to really hammer those debts as much as poss.0 -
Right- it's done! That Halifax card is gone gone gone! :j:j And total paid off is now over £2000. It's only about 5 months sice I came on here saying 'finally paid over £1000 off!'
To celebrate I have bought myself a new bead for my pandora bracelet. Cost = £20 (had room for it in budget!) Represents 1% of the £2000 I have paid off.
Anyways, time for happy dance;Laura you're a real inspiration to me today! I went out with a friend at lunch time and let her treat me to a drink, its always usually me that does the buying of the rounds so that was a nice change! (shouldnt really have had a frolick at lunch time but never mind
)
Must... do some .... work.... :rolleyes:End of 2010 I was £8,007.66 in debt
Today's total: £7,297.06

Well first sit down of the day :j Half hours peace before son arrives home and turns the place into chaos . Have had a really busy day - was away on hols last week so had a lot of catching up to do. Have made some sort of casserole in the slow cooker but no idea what to call it - tried to use up all my out of date stuff so probably all end up with food poisoning by Sunday :rotfl:
Robsmum - Not sure about being able to try and keep order lol. Am very easily ledWas your car taken away today? Must be awful being without it
Laura & Confuzzled - We do fast food - mainly pizzas, burgers and kebabs. Nothing wildly exciting:o Website is Kurties.net if anybody wants to take a look. Laura - well done on clearing off your card :j:j I so wish I could get my cards down. Try to do 0% balance transfers on mine but usually end up paying that 3% transfer charge and it is a nightmare trying to keep track of them
Ebony - well done on your positive attitude and sending that dress back. I understand where you are coming from with the wardrobe situation!! Keep meaning to try and sort mine but always end u thinking that maybe I will wear it again!! Oh and shoes - my weakness
Monkey - What sort of website do you have?
Ruby - hope your hangover has passed  Really made me laugh with your baby-daddy comment - nearly splattered my laptop lol.I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints - the sinners are much more fun0 -

WELL DONE LOZZA!!!!!!!!!! Gawd woman, you're an inspiration! You and RM put me right to shame.
I make my loan payments every month but don't do anything else to pay it off. Still have no CC debt which is good - hope that lasts! Don't want to use CC to survive if things get bleak.
Just had a call from the recruitment consultant about the interview on Monday to coach me for it. Honestly it was like the ABC's of interviewing. Felt like saying 'Look love, I'm 31 and I have managed to get jobs in my life. I think I'm fine!'
Friend I was meant to be seeing tonight is shockingly hungover too so we've agreed to postpone. Can remain on sofa in trackie bots! Yay!!!
Ebs - I hope you're not feeling too down about the cashola sitch this week. I love you even though you're a ditz sometimesHUGS xx

Oooh slow cooker eh? I need ideas for mine. I got given one by the psycho's parents for Xmas but it's still boxed up. My favourite time of year to cook is Autumn/Winter as I love stews - proper comfort food (further explaination as to why even my a*se has bingo wings). Anyway, I know there's a slow cooker thread on here somewhere but any recipes greatly received!
Speaking of recipes, I'm due to suggest the next one - Poppy did you know about this? Tilly gave us all a lovely recipe first for us all to try then we're going to take it in turns to suggest further ones and Laura is going to give us low fat versions of them all (oh yes you are, L!). I will put mine up over the weekend if that suits everyone then it's there for next week.
Book club wise I will also choose one from my shelves over the weekend and pop that in the post to Robsmum (I think that's right isn't it?).
Fuzzled - I thought your Welsh accent was spot on actuallyAnd what's all this about 'people who actually like me'. Give yourself a chastising slap immediately from me please. You're a blimmin' treasure and don't forget it.

Shish Kebab is usually chunks of lamb on a skewer which have been marinated  Very tasty if done properly
Cheese and Onion are my favourite crisps and love them in a sandwich with a slice of dairylea - how childish is that :rotfl:
I too will be slobbed in front of the tv tonight no doubtmay even have to treat myself to some wine
