Yes. Cut it up. Don't "do an eebie" (coining a phrase there....) and spend it again. Alright? Got it? Good.

    :D

I really need to get round to closing by barclays account too. Get rid of the overdraft facility so it shows as less credit available. Simplifies stuff too. Need to ring barclaycard tooa sit appears they haven't closed my card down properly as I had a letter advising me of changes to T&C's last week. Errr- didn't I close you down in January? I think I did..

No need- it's already cancelled. I cancelled it about 6 months ago 'cos they were going to put up the interest rate but they did a thing where you cancel the account and it freezes the interest while you pay the balance but you can't use it for purchases or anything. I'm going to ask for written confirmation of complete closure after it's cleared.

They have already been offering me another credit card

I totally thought it was a man for like half the book till i flipped open the front cover one day and saw a lady smilling at some unknown object in middle distance. It actually changed how I felt about the book!

  • Ok to make up for my anti MSE ness this week I've just done three MSE things:

    1. had my limit on my credit card reduced to £2000 (the outstanding balance is £1980 so I physically can only use £20 more on it now :T)

    2. Resent my charges letter to the correct department

    3. Cancelled an order for a dress from Asos, I don't need it, I'll never wear it and it's not a "bargain" at £30 just because it's in the sale. So there.

Phew, feel a bit better now! :o
