  • Fuzz, part of me wants to not bother doing the stuff, but then part of me really thinks I have to, seeing as I'm not actually leaving the company, just going to a diff job in a diff office, so I don't want to leave behind loads of stuff so they'll be wondering what work I ever did!
Yeah suppose that would create a problem, maybe best to get it out of the way with, shame you don't know how long you'll be there otherwise you'd have been able to stretch it out :)

Fuzz: I've just looked at that house. I love everything about it, the name, the room sizes, even the potential. I can understand your frustration, if I was in your postion/location that would be my dream and I'd be screaming with frustration.
Gorgeous isn't it:D It's my dream forever house, and I love double fronted houses, they look so much neater and more cottage-ish IYSWIM:D although its not completely in the countryside it does border it and is only 15mins away from where I am now, so ideal for work/friends/family! Totally frustrated and the only way I can afford my dream forever house is if it's a wreck inside and I'm not fussy, so long as I can do basic cooking/cleaning and stay a bit warm I'd move in as soon as!:( Oh well, suppose it's just not meant to be:(, although I am tracking it through houseprices.co.uk to see how much it will sell for, if it's less than £100k I'll be mighty pee'd off:mad:
Everything about the house is perfect, just the timing isn't right:( Life is sh!te innit!
    1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

  • Blimey it's been quiet on here today!

Monkey - babe your references KILL me. I used to love that 'Daddy or chips' ad but had forgotten about it until you mentioned it! I heart your brain.

Fuzz - that house is LUSH! Oh man no wonder you're torturing yourself about it! I reckon you should go to a house auction, it looks dead easy on Homes Under The Hammer (maaaaan I need a job).

Where's Ebs and Laura and Princess and Rupe and Tilly and Redstar, eh? Eh? Call this commitment?!

Anyhoo, agency woman was as loathesome in real life as she was on the phone. I say 'woman' she was about fourteen. Came across as bored to the point where she actually yawned, then excused it by saying there wasn't much oxygen in the room??! Mental. Anyway, she said she'd put me forward for a couple of jobs so here's hoping.

OMFG my hair. My hair!!! I LOVE IT. OK so it cost me the equivalent of the national debt of a small third world country but it's soooooo gorgeous. I am no longer a black widow spider! No longer the grim reaper! I am a chocolate-brown-with-a-lil-hint-of-red-head.

Slightly worried that another week is about to end without an interview. Had one Friday but it's been moved to Monday. Time is definitely running out... Eeek!

And to think I almost went into recruitment *shudder* Luckily I wasn't cutthroat enough for 'em! This is, i feel, a good thing!

Nah not yet - I can't do the whole 'take a photo of self at arm's length thing'! I'm sure there will be pics fairly soon as I've got a couple of nights coming up. It's dark brown with a hint of red which my mum just went really gooey about (my natural colour is brown with red tints and she was never happy about me mucking about with it!). You alright love? Mental day, eh?

I was thinking about making that carbonara (my 'diet' version) but I don't have any low fat fromage frais- only low fat yoghurt and I don't think that will work
