It's official....I'm fed up of being in debt:mad::mad::mad: Just been looking at houses and found one thats absolutely perfect for us, just needs tonnes of work doing to it:rolleyes: and guess what! It's completely out of the question because of debts:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I want a forever house:(

Fuzz: I know what you mean!:mad: It's not like we want a lot out of life! I have moments like you, todays was why can't I just go out and get a new run around, we're not even talking thousands of pounds! Then I phone the scarp yard and check it isn't going to cost me loads to scarp my car and feel relieved when I'm told it's free. HOW SAD!:mad::mad:

Oh and for scrapping your car, do you get an money for it?!?! I know you do up here, might be worth asking and double checking. Theres also that advert one as well......we buy any car have a look at the link and see what they'd pay:D You may as well get something out of it eh?:)

blee - I decided to make use of the time at home and clean the front room (which doubles as a bedroom at the moment) - eurgh!!!! is all I can say. There was some serious dust going on - so about an hour or so later when I came up for air (literally) I felt v tired indeed! Had to open the front door to usher the all the dust I'd disturbed out of my house:D

Sense of achievement lasted until OH walked in the house in dirty workboots:mad:

RM - I do at least hope OH is going to assist you in getting back from the scrapyard on Saturday! What are you meant to do, walk home?! Hmmm, teeny weeny bit of troll behaviour there I reckon - you're allowed to pull the girly card WHEN YOU ARE ONE. Oh well, good luck with the car fund. Just remember you managed to pay for a holiday this year which when you joined this thread you never would have imagined you would so you CAN do it!

Laura - OMG the curry JOY!!! I love that you have all the bowls and everything for it! Brilliant work love, OH is a lucky bloke.

Tilly - thanks for the kind words about the job hunt, you're a treasure. I've definitely got that interview on Friday, met with a nice recruitment agent today and have been called about my CV on Monster by another agent that I'm meeting tomorrow. Fingers crossed something comes from all this.

Erm...can't remember much else. Am a tired girl today. Oh yeah, Rupe I hope you feel better soon love.

Got a hair appt tomorrow, going to have the black lifted off and hopefully achieve a nice chocolate brown. Can't wait! I need my spirits lifted.

Fuzz:Ruby: Thanks for the link, did a valuation and they would give me £50. OH is going to follow me to scrap yard and see if we can get anything for mine to lessen the pain. If not we are having battery for BIl as it's only 6 months old, taking stereo out etc. Even £50 is good for car fund! Still we'll see, not to hopeful on that front.

Been quite positive today though and keep reminding myself it can only get better and how far I've come.

Rupe: Cleaning the living room must have been in the air today as I did mine. Hope you are all better now. I think there's a bit of a lurgy about. I sat down for dinner last night, felt faint then sick and like you could pick but not eat. Still felt same this morning but am ok now. Very odd though.

Morning All,
Decided I have to get a life, I am now dreaming about MSE and that I had got a job on here!

It's gloomy here today and I have got really heavy curtains on the line.

Off to work now, have a good morning all. Catch up later.

RM - yeah if you're dreaming about MSE you definitely need a break!! Oh well, it is supposed to be a way of life after all.

Well today I'm off to a recruitment agency who I tried to register with a few weeks ago but was unsure at the time because the girl I spoke to was SO dismissive of me on the phone: 'Well, we haven't got anything suitable but you can register if you want...' In the end I got delayed somewhere else so I missed the appointment and didn't bother making a new one because I thought she was a cow. Then yesterday the same girl calls me having seen my CV on Monster, blatantly not remembering me and inviting me in to discuss a role! I'm playing the game 'I've Never Spoken To You In My Life' because the job sounds good. She was still a cow on the phone but at least this time there's a vague possibility of an interview.
After that it's a quick nip from Covent Garden over to Oxford Circus to get my hair done. Can't wait - just hope it shows a difference. I'll be really disappointed if after all that time and money it looks virtually the same!
