  • Afternoon ladies

I am currently in limbo - got a call from an agency first thing this morning asking if I can get to a last minute interview this afternoon for a perm role (sounds awesome) to which I said yes please, I'll drop everything and the last I heard they were going to submit my CV and get back to me with a time. So far - nothing! Am sat here in full interview gear and mode waiting (hoping) to be summoned!

Laura - sorry you're ill love! I adore the Eagles as well, grew up listening to them and Fleetwood Mac & Eric Clapton thanks to my parents. Hope you feel better soon.

Monkey - sorry about your budget issues, love. That's so frustrating for you :(

RM - Good luck with the car. I really, REALLY hope you don't have to scrap it!!! Keep us posted.

Tilly - lovely drawings on FB, love! Just gorgeous, well done.

    Where's Fuzzled today?

    Come on agency!!!! Gah!

  • Just chased the agency and apparently the company has seen a couple of people they like that are going for second interviews tomorrow so I'm not getting the chance to meet with them. Totally gutted - the job sounded perfect. Spent all morning with my hopes stupidly up and now I feel like sh*t. I'm never going to find a job, I might as well jack it all in and go back to live with my parents. I can't take much more of this.

Am gutted! It's bye-bye car time. It needs loads of welding, which would cost more than the car is worth. I keep trying to think positively, that's £25 insurance a month I save etc but all I can think is have to walk to and from work and there goes my independance for the foreseeable future.icon9.gificon9.gificon9.gif

  • Aw Rubes, try not to get too disheartened, something is just around the corner I'm sure x

RM, I forgot to say before, v impressed with your mammoth cooking session at the weekend! I had plans to cook a whole bunch of stuff, but in the end all I could manage was to roast a piece of pork. Go me.

Laura, hope you're feeling better soon. I recommend lying on the sofa under a blanket as a cure for all ailments.

Saw Drop Dead Fred on dvd in Morrisons yesterday for either £2.99 or £3.99. I though that was weird as we had all just been talking about it...

That would be sensible. Instead I have been out food shopping and planned a big Indian meal for tonight which I have to cook! (all low fat etc so good for diet! :rotfl:) Which includes:
    • Murgh and Paneer Tandoori (that's chicken and indian cheese tandoori to normal folks)
    • Chickpea and Vegetable curry
    • Homemade Onion Bajis (sp?)
    • Poppadums
    • Rice
    • Homemade yogurt and mint dip (like a raita but without the garlic and onion)
    • and naan bread for OH but I can't have it 'cos it's eeevvilll. But I think I'll be ok with the rest of it. I don't think I'll be hungry :rotfl:
Anyways, if all goes well the Murgh and Paneer Tandoori is the recipe I will be submitting to the recipe club!

Well- I'd better get cracking. This Indian feast isn't going to cook itself!!
  • Laura that sounds amazing I am literally drooling. It cries out recipe! Get it done! :D

Also as a heads up, curry is good for colds, clears the sinuses (well, hot curry, anyway)
    End of 2010 I was £8,007.66 in debt :(
    Today's total: £7,297.06 :o
