ok- so here is my meal


That is the yoghurt and mint dip at the back left, and a bowl of rice. They were to share.
Homemade onion bhajis top right which turned out rather well- and tasted very nice and waaayyy less evil than takeaway ones.

Here is a closeup of these as I am rather proud of them


Murgh and Paneer Tandoori in the middle. Hasn't come out as nice looking in the picture as it was. The flash has made it look yellowy when it wasn't.. anyway this was very nice and very hot! I might use a little less of the tandoori masala next time!

And the vegetable curry is on the left. This wasn't very nice unfortunately not bad tasting- just not very curry-ish. We didn't eat much of it but we were very full of everything else. Guess I need to work on my vegetable curry

All in all- quite successful.

RM - Gutted about the car:( But on the bright side, its classed as scrap metal so you could get a few quid for it

Rubes - Yay for the interview on friday:D:D even though it's not as much it's better than a kick in the chuff:D

Monkey - Grrrr to OH:mad: Boys and their toy are a nuisance!!! DH let it slip into convo last night that he's pre-ordered whatever game is coming out, Fifa10 possibly So that means I'll be single for a whil until he gets bored of it:mad::rolleyes:

If I've missed anyone sorry, it's too early for my brain t function properly:o:rolleyes:

Morning All,
Trying to be realistic about my poor car, will encourage me even more to get the car fund going, it stands at only a few pounds at moment! It's going to scrap yard on Saturday morning. I totally gobsmacked my OH last night by saying "you can't expect me to take it to scarp yard -I'm a girl!" I have never in all the time we've been together pulled the girlie card! Needless to say after he got over shock he's insisiting I take it. Cruel man.
Going to blitz my living room today, part of the latest list and find ebay bits.
Laura: Your curry looked amazing.

Dudes - I watched 'A Walk to Remember' last night and got really emotional! This proves that I am under the weather.;) Am at home with the two sick rugrats - and probably going into work this afternoon - simply cos there is too much to be done to leave it for a day. Still feel pretty ick myself - and poor old middle rugrat keeps being sick bless him.

On the plus side - got to watch the Wright Stuff this morning (which hasn't happened for a LONG time) and Craig Revel Horwood was on - I know its wrong, but there is something about that man!!:o

And thanks for comments on the pics, I love drawing i'm just not very good! Hope my course will make me a bit better. I envy the pics you draw. I am really into fantasy art so thats what i'd love to draw.

Monkey/Laura- My OH plays fifa any chance he gets, if he sees me reading a book, cooking etc he's straight up to the spare room to "just finish this game" lol

Confuzz- hope you are ok and enjoying the desk clearing!

Ebs- you ok? anymore dates lined up?

Today i'm going to plan meals for week, send some letters, do some drawing and then tonight I have my art class:j

Did anyone watch "Flashforward" last night, I can tell i'm going to love it, done by makers of Lost and this is a similiar type of thing- see here for trailer . Can't wait until next week! Plus I love Joseph Fiennes.

Yup I saw Flashforward, well the 1st half hour........I got bored:o:o I can understand how you could get into it but I'm not a tv watcher IYKWIM I have to psych myself up just to sit still watching a film:rolleyes:

Could anyone please explain to me why my living room is so dirty when I am a self confessed cleaning addict and why we have so much junk?:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: Am only half way through and haven't even started hoovering, had1 bucket full of disgusting water, have half filled a recycling bag and am getting bored!
