Good morning all - I love how I managed to make you all feel guilty for leaving me on my lonesome yesterday
you are all forgiven!
OMG Rubes I totally forgot about those ginger ones with cream they are absolute heaven. Now officially updating my favourites list...
Princess - Asda man - sounds like a fab opportunity hun! Any further advances? Eh eh?
RM - once again you've excelled yourself - you are the Woman with the Plan - congrats hunI think I might pinch a tiny bit of your enthusiasm and make my own plan - Sept to Sept is a good idea coz it misses out the mayhem that is xmas! (A couple of years ago I tried doing it April to April - this also failed because my birthday is end March:o)
Still waiting to hear on the job - very nervous now, really want it again, keep going round in circles in my head.... I just want the payrise, I know that sounds bad but I could really do with the extra bit to chop off large chunks of the debt and get it finished with.
All the people I fed my cookies to this week have all said they were amazing and I am so flattered I'm going to make some moreOnly problem is they don't work out all that cheap so I will try and make smaller ones and make the dough last a bit longer. Also need to do a Lidl shop tonight so am going to have a recipe hunt on here (and using RM's wonderful email - thanks love xx) and write out a VERY STRICT list and not even buy chocolate milk for the walk home (like I usually do - it's tradition since I was 16:o)
Rupe/Rude can't beleive you went back to work just to chat to us lovely people - deidcation to the cause that isRubes, on my way to find your paintings now! you creative thing you. Also - you should def look into selling them, my friend C (think I've mentioned her before) sells hers every so often and the last one made £200 for her pocket
Monkey - yep, sent off the letter yesterday so hopefully will hear back on that one - will let you know. Tash totally forgot you said you were off on holiday!! We need to meet up for lunch ASAP. Are you free tomorrow lunch time?
Argh think that's all you lot covered! Since it's past 10am I'd better actually do some work.... back laterxx
End of 2010 I was £8,007.66 in debt
Today's total: £7,297.06

Fuzzled and RM, I love Christmas too, hand started thinking about it a couple of weeks ago. Think because of Bf's job, that all my family will be coming to stay at ours again, so there'll be 6 of us again, in our teeny 2bed house (the dolls house, as my mum calls it). I think the funniest thing last year was my nan thinking she was being helpful / less of a nuisance by offering to go and sleep in the car .
Have you seen the 'organised Christmas' website. Basically it gives you a plan of all the things you should do each week so that you'll be super organised, tidy and prepared by Christmas. I tried to do it last year, but I found the site a bit late and I never managed to catch up. I had so many lists for xmas last year that I had a special mas note book. Not that I'm sad or anything.
Oh, and I was a bit confused about the end of waking the dead too. I'm guessing it was because they couldn't charge any of them 'cos of the way the evidence had been collected?much work to be done - new sig coming soon...0 -
Hi everyone,
Sorry I've been a bit of a lurker recently - life and work's really manic!
Anyway, I'm pleased that holidays have gone well and job situations are looking promising for some.
Confuzz - grats on the weight sit!
I think that I too am in for a busy Christmas - I made the mistake of suggesting to DH that perhaps we should offer to 'do' Christmas this year, as I know his family have been struggling a bit - but I didn't do the numbers and sure enough, we're now looking at doing Christmas for 10 people - I don't know where they're going to sit!! I've only got 4 chairs, and a couple of garden chairs....Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Oh and for chairs etc get on freecycle now! People will start to be getting new ones in ready for xmas and their old ones will end up on freecycle....or is that just here?Anyhoo I aint complaining, had 2 emails back today from my request for chairs! Just gotta sort out outhouse so I have somewhere to store everything:D:D

Done the kitchen cupboards and pantry! The only lurkers were 4 tins of fruit in fruit juice (2 years out of date) and a box of dried fruit salad, not quite sure what to do about them yet????
Going to have a look at organized Christmas later.
