    Hi all,

Well I joined Foxy too! Withdrew £20 from Littlewoods Bingo, £10 I won on bingo, £10 on scratchies, so have put £10 on Foxy, down to £9.70! Did you know you can't withdraw less than £30 though? No probs I guess I playing with my winnings, ha!

That Xmas cake sounds fab, if my banana bread works, might attempt that! Have a great nite all xx
  • I hate recruitment consultants. Got a panicky phone call at 5pm about that temp role I mentioned but it sounded uber complicated & busy, very corporate & way beyond my level, plus he said the current temp was leaving because she didn't have time to look for permanent work in that role which isn't what I want.
Anyway, he was obviously calling me as a last resort as he told me the other person he chose turned it down as she's too busy and he'd left it really late, the result being he was REALLY pressuring me and I ended up panicking and turning it down. At which point he said 'well no offence but actually just talking to you I'm having my doubts whether you could do it anyway' and hung up on me!! I've never felt so wretched and knowing agencies as I do, I can kiss goodbye to ever getting considered by them again.

Am feeling very, very low tonight. Why don't I keep a supply of wine in this flat, why?!

Ruby - put in a complaint about him to his boss. Seriously. Who on earth does he think he is? He has obviously totally messed up - probably promised this client a temp, now can't deliver and is taking it out on you.

Deep breathe tomorrow morning hon, and ring his boss/hr dept of the agency and RAISE HELL. (Especially as the way he presented it to you on the phone tonight - who wouldn't have panicked?)

    What an absolute !!!!!!.

An agent is there to work for companies not candidates, this is true but treating you like that and then snapping when you didn't get him his tidy little commission is out of order. Totally agree with Swinstie that you need to report him - and hun please don't feel downhearted about it - he's one tiny drop in an otherwise huge ocean!

I feel bad for jumping in with my first post now.... :(

Totally agree! What an absolute !!!!!!!! He's probably !!!!!! off at himself for mentally spending the commission rather than finding someone to fill the bloody job:rolleyes::mad: I hate recruitment consultants, they should be re-named as "It's really sales and so long as I get commission I don't care oh and I'm a !!!! who thinks a lot of him/herself"
You should deffo ring and complain:mad: I can do it for you if you like:D Bunch of willy-bum-hole-heads:mad::mad:
