    Hi Di,

Further update from FOS today regarding the ongoing saga of PPI repayment.

FOS letter states that " Following our involvement, Clydesdale Bank has now agreed to make you an offer to settle your complaint - however, it has told us that it will be based on the general approach that the Financial Ombudsman Service takes when we decide that a consumer has been mis-sold a PPI policy.":T:T:money::j:beer::D:p;):o

    So my question's are
    • is it possible to work out the repayments, if so anyone want to drop me a message to help me out?
    • this response is the response we have been awaiting agreed??
We would like to thank Di3004 and Marshallka for their valued contributions over this year long saga.

    All the very best

Wullie Sharon and now wee Wullie Jnr!!:D
    :T:TWell done and congrats :money:
  • Any of the number crunchers out there??

I had a read at the sticky on how the calculation is carried out so fingers crossed Sharon can get her return pretty soon.:j
  • Just an update on this!

After being told on the 25th October we had won our case and CB agreed to pay up we are still waiting on the payment and re adjustment of the Loan.

Really disapointed it has taken this long, Clydesdale Bank are dragging their heels on this one!

    Cheers.

    Wullie.

    Hiya

You have been waiting a long time.

When was the last time you heard anything about your refund?

I think only actually answer what you can be 100% on and the rest you need to just put "too long ago to remember the actuals". Still send a covering letter though stating you are still adamant you were missold and reiterate your reasons.

bad advise. If the case foes to fos and they see that your 'adament' that your policy was missold yet you have also stated that you cant remember alot of details as it was sold a long time ago it throws dobt over your testimony

Clydesdale will take ages because they are the most understaffed bank regulated by the FSA

We are still waiting for paper work to be forwarded from CB!

We have kept in touch with the FOS at everydeadline and they have been chasing the bank up!

Surely there must come a point where the FOS can impose action from CB? this is dragging on and they appear to be taking the mick outta both my partner and the FOS representative with 4 broken promises now.....
