Just a further update on this one.
Sharon spoke with FOS yesterday and they have said the case is going to the ombusdman.
We are confident sharon should get her money back but not got our hopes up.
Its a pig it has taken this long, the repayments will finish in April so not long to go, quite disturbing the Clydesdale banks actions through this.
We have been informed there will be a letter form FOS which we need to respond to to inform them that there are no further changes or update them if there are, then there should be a ruling after that.
This has been ongoing since November 2009

Hiya
Thanks for your update
If Sharon has any further information to give the ombudsman that may help the case then also pass that on to them too.
Hope this gets turned around, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
thanks Di, I am well thankyou, u?
All the claims Ive made for numerous banks are with the FOS and its frustrating because its taking sooooo long to hear back from them with them being so busy, but hoping Clydesdale bank will give me the thumbs up sooner rather than later.
Hiya
Glad your okay.
I can understand how frustrated you are, the waiting can be agonising I know.
But yes, fingers crossed anyway and hope you hear a good result on this soon.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi Di,
Further update from FOS today regarding the ongoing saga of PPI repayment.
FOS letter states that " Following our involvement, Clydesdale Bank has now agreed to make you an offer to settle your complaint - however, it has told us that it will be based on the general approach that the Financial Ombudsman Service takes when we decide that a consumer has been mis-sold a PPI policy.":T:T:money::j:beer::D:p;):o
So my question's are- is it possible to work out the repayments, if so anyone want to drop me a message to help me out?
- this response is the response we have been awaiting agreed??
All the very best
Wullie Sharon and now wee Wullie Jnr!!:D0 -

Cheers di.
Will post figures on return to the house.0 -
The figures are as follows.
£4202 is the amount of PPI for credit
£5966.29 is the amount of PPI reypayable.
£22.94 is the weekly amount of PPI over 260 weeks.
So far we have paid approx 230 weeks of payment.
Is it as simple as 230 x £22.94 = £5276.2 + 8% = £5698.29:eek:
The the remaining repayments of the loan will be as it stands minus the PPI.??
Many thanks for any help.
Wullie + Sharon0 -
