    Have you done it yet?......:rotfl:

I need to get OH to release the Nectar points as both cards are in his name (God knows how  We have about £90 worth of points :j
  • Yay :j I have dialled the number, put all the information in for him on the phone and then given it to him. He is now on the phone trying to cancel it and sulking it as they keep asking him questions about why he wants to cancel it and I also made him do it mid-dinner eating :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:It doesn't help that they are all in India and he can't understand what they are saying :rotfl:

You would think that he has been asked to build a mountain!

All I need to get him to do now is to phone a plumber and a roofer - that should take a few months then!

Fairly uneventful day - spent £1.37 on necessary fat and sugar filled food, ran myself senseless on the treadmill and looked like a drowned rat when I got off. Came home and did ironing, emptied Mr T's shopping and finally cancelled sky :j:j:j

  • Am also in hugely precarious financial position. We should be paid on Monday, which is the day the Council Tax goes out and will take us £50 over our limit. If we are not paid until the day after we are up the creek without a paddle and going to be charged  I could transfer/withdraw money from a credit card, but I also want to show OH that this is the position and we need to avoid this IYSWIM?? He has never been in the position of being told, we have no money until payday until now and is taking it quite badly and I am just ignoring his moans as this is life.

Hoping next month as we have no Council Tax we will have money in the tins and a little bit of savings and a dent of £1k in the debt - let's hope :)

Go you! :T Sounds like the fat and sugar were well earned ;)
  • just started reading this and glad to see someone in a similar situation. I have just started a debt diary and i think its going to help. Reading through this has really helped as i always think our debt is too big ( 70,000 unsecured ) but you are doing really well and it has brightened up my evening nowing someone else is "gettting on with it" too. Will keep popping in x
