Thought I better just update incase you think I have fallen off the debt free wagon and swanning around the Carribean somewhere - I wish
Spent some money yesterday :eek: Was stuffy in office so sat outside a pub with work colleague and treated us to a drink. Naughty I know but I have been really really good all week, stressful time at work and we needed some out time - and then she bought me one back - and it wasn't alcohol for me and I resisted chocolate from Mr T's
Did my CC shuffle, which meant shuffling to high interest so that offers could kick in on other two and then moving back - will be cheaper in long term, but have to take the BT fee on the chin for now as was paying £100 a month interest on the other card so not helpful!
Need to start looking around for cheaper car insurance, bores me to tears but worth it I suppose!
Also, I have emailed a few magazines about a potential article I could have published, it is debt related and probably come to nothing but I kind of thought, don't ask, don't get.
We are doing ok-ish on our budgets. About £1 over on the £70 food budget and about £2 over on the weekly budget but we are hopeful we will do well next week as no plans!
Off to make a brew and see what else I can do to avoid work now........1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j
2nd debt - MBNA - £6,618.52
First in many many to go - baby steps and all that!
First lump sum to go - fingers crossed!

Hi IMD - just checking in with you and catching up. Haven't had broad band for a couple of weeks - but happily we are back on line now. Wrestled the rugrats away from the computer for a few minutes - am making them watch the Eurovision show:rotfl:Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side
November GC £255/£3000 -
Morning everyone - sorry for absence, work and home life has been manic, I really haven't had a minute to myself and miss catching up with everyone on here
Just sat here with breakfast cr***ing it over the 20 mile race I will be partaking in shortly  God help me, it now seems like the most ridiculous thing I have ever decided to do. Every muscle and joint hurts for no apparent reason....
Finances haven't been too bad - have gone over budget this week by about £35  as I had to get some vitamins, forgot to take my lunch in blah de blah, the usual. But we are hoping to recoup some of the loss this week as we have limited spends.
OH has done the weekly shopping for £51 :eek::eek: He is shaming me into how good he is being with the food budget as we are hardly buying anything extra during the week. We are now giving the kids pocket money as well.
So hoping to spend very little this week, but no doubt something ridiculous will get in the way - let's see!
Off to get ready now and take the obligatory dose of immodium plus to keep everything in place for the next few hours:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
