Good evening - sorry for the absence, busy, busy, busy.....

Differences between Mrs IMD then and Mrs IMD then:-

1 - I am now the proud owner of an instant access Cash ISA with £689.50 in after emptying jars for big things and becoming a grown up and can only access it with a passbook :j

2 - I am now the proud owner of a new pair of trainers :j

3 - I now have two credit cards with fixed low interest instead of two credit cards with 20% interest! :j

4 - I have a Husband who has submitted his expenses on time :j

5 - I have made a meal out of basics in the house without going shopping

6 - I have discovered the pound shop

7 - I have discovered baskets, crepe paper in the pound shop to dress my bargain purchase from Body Shop and now it looks like a professional Mothers Day Present :j

And I think that may be it from IMD land :)

Go You !:T:T Well Done , You ARE getting there:)

  • IMD. Brilliant achievements!

I discovered the pound shop at Xmas as I decided to do my DSs stockings for £5 a head - especially as it's me that likes to make a fuss with stockings, despite my sentimentality i don't think they really get the stockings thing - and acquitted myself quite well.

I think you are reformed - I think I am too - it's been so much effort to get this far I'm not going to blow it now! My big test is next month - can I do Paris on my budget? I think I can, but think that for one month only, I'm going to pay less on my RBS card to finance it - better a smaller repayment than I'd like, than to slip back into OD......

    Anyway, go you

Glad I have made a difference to you. Every little helps!

I too think that I have reformed as well! I was so cross with myself for spending money in the pound shop even though it was good spends, and I have never done that before. I was also recommended a book yesterday, I looked on the internet, thought about buying it, physically went into the book shop, picked it up and then walked away :j Have ordered it from the library instead - please don't faint........

Also watched the Secret Millionaire last night, compared to those people I am rolling in it and for that I am grateful.

And on that note I bid you goodnight :A
