Here I am bouncing back and it was indeed a short ramble :D well only compared to the 19 I did the other week! Fairly horrific, one big hill for the first half but then down hill in which I look like a mad cow running and jumping over stones in an effort to not fall over. Fell racing is far from an elegant sport! I had used my old trainers as I had still not ordered others as just couldn't justify it, but tipped up home with a huge rip in my trainers in which cow poo had slipped in and OH said it was time to sort them out so I'm ordering them tonight! I've never took so long over buying something.

Was v good at the race - we take it in turns to drive and not my turn this week, then had free food at the race and my homemade cake in the car on the way home - so freebies all round! :j

Downside is I am knackered, had to force myself to do something this afternoon to avoid sleeping. I am doing an even bigger race next week - god help me :eek: Got some lovely people to run with though and we are running together. Has certainly cleared the cobwebs though and I can forget everything when I run.

Apart from that, done very little today. Ran around, nagged, shouted at kids who are just being difficult today and trying. But such is life with young children with strong personalities!

Week 3 of severe budgeting ahead - let the rollercoaster begin!

First lump sum to go - fingers crossed!

Fresh air clears the headache, doesn't do much for joints though :o

Well done IMD! :T I'm very impressed by your activity level: if I did a race lke that, it would be goodbye for me for the day, or week, rather! *Insert exhausted smiley*

I can't believe that after a weekend like that you are going to get back up and go to work again. *Insert superwoman smiley*
